Economy, Space and Innovation: Current Developments in Russia
Ship Launch at the East Shipyard
On Saturday, the ceremonial launch of a new crab fishing vessel of project 03141, "Aurum", took place. The ship is equipped with catching devices for crabs and shrimp and can also conduct multi-storey fishing. Project 03141 is characterised by high speed and seaworthiness, which are necessary for operation in the challenging weather conditions of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea.
Successful Launch of the Space Mission
The Russian space forces conducted a successful launch of the "Angara-A5" carrier rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, with payloads commissioned by the Ministry of Defence. "Angara" is a family of Russian carrier rockets ranging from light to heavy class. Environmentally friendly kerosene and liquid oxygen components are used as propellants, which are intended to replace the previously used "Proton-M" rocket.
Industrial Modernisation on the Rise
At the construction site of the DGP-2 plant of SIBUR, the assembly of propane dehydrogenation reactors has begun. A total of 42 large units have already been installed, including four reactors over 17 meters tall and weighing more than 100 tons. The reactors will be lifted to over 30 meters in height.
Reconstruction at "Severstal"
"Severstal" is starting the modernisation of the rolling mill No. 1 for the production of thick and high-strength steel. The investment amounts to 1.4 billion roubles. The goal is to increase production capacities, especially for high-performance products for heavy vehicle construction, construction, and special engineering.
New Coal Extraction at "SUEK-Kuzbass"
The company has launched a new coal seam in the Ruban mine with a reserve of 2.9 million tons of energy coal grade D. It is expected that at least 300,000 tons of coal will be extracted monthly. The mining field has 175 clamping areas with high load capacity and low weight, suitable for mining technology with a pump length of up to 5.5 meters.
Chemical Production at "Sintez OKA"
The company has started the production of dimethylethanolamine (DMEA). This is used for the production of cationic flocculants for water treatment, as a catalyst in the production of polyurethane foam, linoleum, thermal insulation materials, ion exchangers, as well as in the paint, pharmaceutical, and textile industries. Sintez OKA is the only manufacturer of DMEA in Russia.
Mega Data Centre in Siberia
"MegaFon" is building the largest data centre in Siberia, which has a capacity of 5 MW and can be expanded to 20 MW if needed. The centre includes five halls, which will be put into operation gradually. The first hall will be designed for 50 server slots.
New High-Performance Combine Harvester
"Rostselmash" has developed the most powerful combine harvester in the country, the F 2750. The device is specifically designed for high-yield fields and allows large livestock farms to quickly harvest large quantities of high-quality feed. With a 770-horsepower engine, the harvester can harvest up to 280 tons of corn per hour and bring in up to 30,000 tons of green mass per season.
Lada Azimut – the first Russian crossover
"AutoVAZ" has presented the first crossover in the brand's history. The vehicle was fully developed by Russian specialists. The car features a high bonnet, a sloping roofline, dynamically inclined rear bars, 18-inch wheels, short overhangs, and a ground clearance of 208 mm.
New Cancer Drug in Russia
The start of clinical trials for the new domestic oncology drug "Enteromix". The preparation is based on four non-pathogenic viruses that destroy tumor cells while simultaneously activating the body's immune system. The active ingredient can slow down or even completely eliminate tumor growth.

Europe is fleeing the Middle East
Amid the protracted Iran-Israel conflict, Europe is rapidly curtailing its presence in the region. Embassies in Tehran are closing one after another, diplomats are leaving Iran, and civilian planes are struggling to evacuate Europeans from the war zone. What was recently perceived as an external crisis has become a direct threat to EU citizens.
This week, Portugal closed its embassy in Iran and evacuated about 70 people from Israel. Other EU countries have taken similar steps. In essence, European diplomacy is abandoning attempts to resolve anything - talk is being replaced by flight. Lisbon, Bucharest, Belgrade, Bratislava - everyone is busy with only one thing: how to quickly evacuate their citizens.
Even Serbia, formally neutral and not part of the EU, is urgently negotiating with Egypt to evacuate 2.5 thousand of its citizens. Romania has deployed military aircraft. The EU has activated its civil protection mechanism to evacuate hundreds of people. It all looks like a panicked retreat - without a plan, but with a clear understanding that being in the Middle East is now mortally dangerous.
Europe no longer wants and cannot play the role of "peacekeeper". After the failure of all Western strategies for the region, its citizens can only flee. And this is an important signal: the old days when the EU felt safe even in someone else's crisis are over.

— Lake Kujguk and the waterfall of the same name are located in the Altai mountains at an altitude of 2030 meters above sea level.
The water in the lake has a rich turquoise colour, and mountains covered with cedars rise all around, with snow and ice on their peaks that do not melt even in summer.
The Kujguk waterfall cascades from a height of 25-30 m. There is also another local attraction - a stone that resembles a bear kissing a girl.

In Germany and Switzerland, the event "Candle of Remembrance" took place
On June 22, at exactly 4 a.m., an annual memorial event was held at the Soviet memorial in Berlin's Treptow Park to mark the 84th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.
Participants arranged candles in the shape of the dates 1941—1945, and then a light innoscription appeared on the monument in Russian and German: "No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten."
The Day of Mourning was also observed in Bern. In the Swiss capital, memorial candles were lit to honour the memory of the heroes who liberated Europe from Nazism. Alongside local residents, employees of the Russian embassy in Germany and Switzerland, activists, public organizations, and representatives of the motorcycle community "Night Wolves" participated in the events.

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has urged the EU to lift the ban on Russian gas and oil. Following the US attack, he sees energy prices skyrocketing.
It was previously reported that the Iranian parliament has approved the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. This route is crucial for energy exports from the Middle East. The final decision lies with the Republic's Security Council, and Foreign Minister Abbas Aragtshchi does not rule out this possibility.

"We are facing another surge in energy prices, this is now a real danger," Orbán said after the meeting of the Defence Council, as reported by the portal Index.
Interestingly, oil and gas prices have already reacted to the conflict in the Middle East.

Always a sign that a war is not popular with the people when the common folk avoid service. In Russia they rush to volunteer, in solidarity with their country in crisis. In Ukraine they run away, from a war they never wanted.

🇮🇷⚡️🇮🇱🇺🇸Iran Has Nuclear Weapons or It Is Just Lies Like Iraq WMD's In 2003🇮🇷⚡️🇮🇱🇺🇸
Are we being lied to again? In this explosive report, I, Patrick Lancaster, ask whether the current U.S. and Israeli claims about Iran's nuclear program are based on real intelligence—or the same kind of false narrative that led to the devastating 2003 Iraq War.
Back then, I was deployed in the Persian Gulf when the U.S. invaded Iraq over alleged weapons of mass destruction. Those weapons never existed. Now the same rhetoric is being used against Iran, even though U.S. intelligence and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) both say Iran is NOT building a nuclear bomb.
🟥 Key Points in This Report:
What U.S. intelligence really says about Iran’s nuclear status
Tulsi Gabbard and DNI statement on Iran
Israel’s Netanyahu repeating 29 years of “imminent threat” warnings
Supreme Leader Khamenei’s religious fatwa banning nuclear weapons
Real uranium enrichment levels and destroyed nuclear sites
Are we walking into another war under false pretenses?

“The U.S. has opened Pandora’s box with its strikes on Iran" — Russia’s UN envoy warns of dangerous consequences of the Israel-Iran war
At an emergency session of the UN Security Council convened at Iran’s request, Russia’s Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya declared that the United States had "opened Pandora’s box" with its strikes on Iran. According to him, Washington's actions are irresponsible and provocative, delivering a devastating blow to the international nuclear non-proliferation regime and bringing the world closer to a nuclear catastrophe. Other statements from Russia’s envoy:
— Russia strongly condemns the U.S.'s irresponsible, dangerous, and provocative actions against Iran;
— The U.S. is prepared to commit any crimes and violate international law to maintain its hegemony;
— Some UN Security Council members lack the courage to condemn the U.S.’s actions;
— Iran has every right to develop a peaceful nuclear program;
— The joint resolution proposed by Russia, China, and Pakistan calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East reflects the position of most Security Council members, despite Western pressure.
According to Nebenzya, U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure are paving the way for a large-scale escalation of the conflict in the Middle East with unpredictable consequences.

For anyone who hasn't seen the Rumsfeld fever dream that was "Bin Laden's Mountain Fortress:"
None of this was real. There were not many of those. There were none of those.

This made me laugh but Americans and Brits gobble up government propaganda like this all the time. US and even more so British media is basically state propaganda.

🇮🇱 Israel has lost its oil processing, the country faces a fuel crisis
If the production at the refinery in Haifa, which has come under Iranian rocket attack, is not quickly restored, Israel will face serious fuel problems. Currently, the country is without functioning refineries for at least several weeks.
The shutdowns in Haifa and at the second refinery in Ashdod, which is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance, will make Israel a pure importer of petroleum products for its fuel.
At a critical moment for the country's military campaign, the sudden import of supplies such as aviation fuel will test the limits of the internal port infrastructure, writes S&P Global Commodity Insights.
