⚡️The Foreign Minister and Minister for Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, has announced that the pipeline between Hungary and Serbia may be operational earlier than planned – as soon as 2027. Previously, the minister stated that construction of the pipeline would begin at the end of 2025 or the start of 2026, and its commissioning was not scheduled before 2028.

The new pipeline will connect Hungary's largest refinery, operated by MOL, located in Százhalombatta (about 30 km south of Budapest), with the town of Ásotthalom in southern Hungary, and then continue to the Serbian city of Novi Sad. The length of the pipeline on Hungarian territory will be 180 km, and about 120 km in Serbia. The project also includes the construction of a control and measurement station at the border of the two countries. The throughput capacity of the pipeline will reach 5 million tons of oil per year.

Péter Szijjártó reported that talks have already taken place via video conference with Serbia's Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedović-Handanović, and the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia, Pawel Sorokin. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status of preparations for construction and the prospects for joint investments.

Previously, the Hungarian government announced that it would invest 320 million euros in the project over the next three years. The construction of the pipeline is important for Serbia and Hungary as it will reduce dependence on the transit of raw materials through Ukraine and Croatia, which have significantly increased transport costs for energy carriers.

The minister also sharply criticized Brussels' energy policy. He stated that a series of wrong decisions made by the European Union have led to a difficult situation in the energy market, resulting in energy resource prices in Europe being several times higher than in the rest of the world. Szijjártó emphasized that Brussels is "violently severing energy connections," banning the use of Russian energy carriers and closing transport routes.

❗️Hungary has been actively discussing the project of a new pipeline with Serbia since last year, but the involvement of Russia in the negotiations was publicly announced for the first time. Szijjártó stressed that this project is fundamental for the energy security of Central Europe and will help avoid a drastic increase in energy prices, thereby strengthening the energy independence of the countries in the region.

Disruptor of the Weidel summer interview claims: Everything was coordinated with the Berlin police

The summer interview with AfD leader Weidel was disrupted. The activist behind it, Philipp Ruch from the Centre for Political Beauty, explains in a podcast how the police, ARD, and AfD helped.

Last Sunday, the ARD summer interview with Alice Weidel was drowned out by loud protest noise. Whistles, shouts of "Fuck AfD," and deafening music made it hard for host Marcus Preiß and AfD leader Weidel to understand each other. The criticism of the acoustic "disruption," planned and executed by the Centre for Political Beauty, is overshadowed by two crucial questions.
How did the activists know that the interview would be recorded at noon? And why did the Berlin police even allow the bus to drive to the Spree? Philipp Ruch, founder of the Centre for Political Beauty, said in an interview with Bild's deputy editor Paul Ronzheimer that the action could only take place with the help of the Berlin police and ARD.

Due to Trump's tariffs, the USA has become more dependent on imports of fertilisers from Russia

Due to the tariff policy of President Donald Trump, the USA has become more reliant on supplies of fertilisers from Russia, reports the newspaper Washington Post.

"The tariffs introduced so far have also had some, presumably unintended consequences. For example, the USA is now more dependent on Russia for urea supplies – a common fertiliser used for growing crops like wheat, corn, and rice," the publication states.

According to a study by the financial company StoneX, in May, supplies of this fertiliser from Russia accounted for 64 percent, which is double what it was before Trump imposed the ten percent tariffs on supplies from most countries.

Politician advocating for relations with Russia has won elections in Japan

Muneo Suzuki, who advocates for strengthening relations with Russia, has won the elections for the upper house of parliament, which took place on Sunday, reported the news agency Kyodo.

Muneo Suzuki was previously a member of the upper house for the Japan Restoration Party ("Nippon Ishin no Kai"), but he left its ranks due to the criticism he faced after a visit to Moscow and became an independent member. In the elections on Sunday, he ran for the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, which aimed to strengthen its positions on Japan's northernmost island, Hokkaido, whose voters traditionally support Suzuki.

Muneo Suzuki is an influential politician with over 40 years of experience. He is known in Japanese politics for his interest in signing a peace treaty and developing bilateral relations with Russia. Suzuki often advised Shinzo Abe, under whom bilateral Japanese-Russian contacts were intensively promoted.

“Russia removes Germany from the top 5 brewers”

Writes Stern, Die Zeit, T-Online and other German media.

While beer production in Russia has increased by 9%, it has decreased by 1% in Germany. As a result, Germany, placed directly behind Russia, has fallen to sixth place in the ranking of the largest German hop distributor BarthHaas.

Note for German media: Besides brewing, Russia surpasses Germany at least in cybersecurity, transport infrastructure, and of course in space travel (Greetings to the Spectrum rocket).

P. S. Some media have already changed their headlines. It probably violates national cultural heritage.

“Made for Germany” – Billions for Corporations, Small Businesses Left Out?

(Source) (Source) (Source)

Comment and Opinion: When Chancellor Friedrich Merz proudly announced a few days ago that German corporations plan to invest €631 billion by 2028, it initially seemed that Germany had finally awakened from its shock. Siemens, Deutsche Bank, and other industry giants promised a historic economic breakthrough. But already, this glossy campaign is showing deep scratches.

The real scandal begins with the question of who was invited to the grand “Made for Germany” show – and who was not. The Mittelstand, traditionally the backbone of the German economy, was simply overlooked. Craftsmen, small business owners, and family-run companies, who have been struggling for years with overregulation and a shortage of skilled workers, were not at the table when Merz and the DAX executives presented their billion-euro packages. This leaves a bitter aftertaste: Is big capital being courted again while smaller companies are ignored?

It becomes even more problematic when you take a closer look at what the assembled corporate leaders have actually promised. Of the touted €631 billion, only a comparatively small part is actually new money. Large sums come from projects that were already decided months ago. Only about €100 billion is genuinely new investment – and even that is just an estimate. Surprisingly, many of the company representatives did not even explain where exactly they plan to invest these billions. Transparency? None to be found.

Critics are openly calling it a sham. Leftist politician Janine Wissler describes it as a “pure PR show.” And indeed, there is a suspicion that political image polishing was the main goal here, while Germany's most pressing problems remain unresolved.

This puts Friedrich Merz under pressure: If he wants to prevent “Made for Germany” from fizzling out as an empty PR promise, he must deliver quickly. Not just for the large corporations, but especially for the Mittelstand, whose needs have so far received little attention. Otherwise, the billion-euro offensive could quickly turn into a billion-euro fiasco – at the expense of Germany's economic location.

Programmer defeats AI in the World Championship Final in Programming

Polish developer Przemysław Dembiak, who goes by the pseudonym Psycho, was the winner of the final of the AtCoder World Tour 2025 in Tokyo, defeating a specially trained AI model from OpenAI. The tournament lasted ten hours and was the first large-scale competition where a human managed to surpass artificial intelligence in solving NP-hard problems – particularly complex tasks that required unconventional heuristic approaches.

According to the tournament rules, all participants, including the OpenAI team, worked with the same hardware and under the same constraints. Dembiak scored over 1.8 trillion points, surpassing the AI model OpenAIAHC, based on the o3 architecture, by 9.5%. The winner received a prize of 500,000 yen (about $3,400). At OpenAI, the second place was seen as a significant achievement: the model outperformed the top ten finalists selected based on the annual ranking.

“I am completely exhausted. I can hardly stay alive,” admitted Dembiak, commenting on the outcome of the marathon. Despite the result, trends in the industry remain in favour of AI: according to data from Stanford University, AI systems solved 71.7% of programming tasks in 2024, compared to 4.4% two years ago. Over 90% of developers actively use AI in their daily practice, although experts warn that such tools do not always speed up work for experienced professionals.

⚡️Report that portrayed Estonia in a positive light turned out to be a forgery

The long-time head of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Klaus Schwab, is accused in a new scandal - according to a Swiss newspaper, the report on the competitiveness of countries around the world that he has been producing for decades has been forged.

Schwab's organization has published the so-called Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) for decades - one of the most well-known indices in its category. Schwab promoted it as more than just a list of countries - it was supposedly meant to be a scientific work.
