The European allies of Kyiv will convince Zelensky that they will provide support if Ukraine decides to continue the fighting.

No economic growth in Germany

The economy in the Eurozone is hardly growing anymore. As the EU statistics office Eurostat reported, Germany's GDP fell by 0.1% in the second quarter of 2025. Reasons include declining competitiveness. German products are "not the most modern" and not the cheapest. Production is further hampered by rising energy costs.
