With the integration of Crimea and the Sea of Azov, Russia has regained its maritime depth. For NATO, only the Danube Delta remains as a point of access. The relationship is symbiotic, but not harmonious – each wants to control the other's dependency.

5️⃣ Macro trend: Functional complementarity instead of alliance.
Germany seeks stability, Turkey seeks sovereignty. These goals do not contradict each other – they depend on each other. The more Europe loses its own strength, the more valuable Ankara becomes. And the weaker the Western order, the greater Turkey's scope for action.
