Let us agree on a few basic things, Wagner is a private military company that operates like a business - albeit they're more special because they also work for the national interests of the Russian Federation, their home country, so that does not mean that Russia is directly interfering in the situation in Sudan regarding the gold mining, only private individuals with direct ties to the Kremlin and their interests are so far confirmed to have been involved in this mess, only God knows if the Russian Government is knee deep in this situation, because what's the point of multipolarity if you're just going to act like the Neocons in Washington?

In 2017 and 2018, the then Sudanese ruler, Omar, visited Moscow, Omar, no matter what your views on him, is technically wanted by the International Criminal Court, and has been overthrown in a revolt/coup organized by civil elements and his army a few years back, but back to the point.

Ever since 2017, a more and increasing amount of Sudanese Gold has been declared missing and unaccounted for, so much so that in 2018, 77% of the yearly production of Sudanese Gold simply vanished - it was unaccounted for, it was all chalked up to smuggling and international criminal rings, but that is too much of a coincidence, and too sophisticated, it's important to note that Sudan is the 3rd largest gold producing country in Africa.

Eventually, The US and Norwegian authorities caught wind of this operation and demanded Sudan to freeze the assets of MeroeGold, which didn't do much as MeroeGold tried to transfer its assets to another company called Al-Solag, sneak 100, but didn't work out.

After Omar was booted out, the Sudanese had enough, and demanded MeroeGold and Kush to work straight, or not work at all, the Council of Deconstruction of Omar's Regime - a special council made to try and weed out corruption - vehemently opposed these Russian corporations, but then the "upper echelons" in the new Sudanese government vetoed their decisions, and the corporations were told to work as they were before, now, I'm not even going to touch about these allegations that popped up after 2022 - from the English sphere that is, the truth is, in the Arab sphere, reports of the Russian corporations in Sudan misusing their permits and smuggling gold has been recorded as early as 2015.

I previously noted that in 2018, 77% of yearly Sudanese gold production vanished, this situation isn't any better, in 2022 70% of the Sudanese gold produced this year went missing, and in 2021, 32.7 tons of gold went missing, obviously that's not solely out of state production, but of gold in the reserve, illegal mining, and then smuggling and thievery that goes on.

I don't even need to mention the workings of M-Invest, their front, Al-Solag, or the likes, I just want to point out that corrupt officials in Khartoum are purposefully aiding foreign private companies - linked or not linked, to me that doesn't matter - in the plundering of their own country, a grave sin.

I don't know if Russian authorities are linked to this, but if Wagner and multiple Russian companies belonging to oligarchs do, chances are they are aware or are actively aiding in this endeavor, Russia, to maintain its goodwill and standing among third-world nations, should cease operations, what's the point of allying third world countries if they'll notice they'll get plundered like Sudan?

Large anti-war rally held in Munich
