About 20,000 cartridges intended for the Bundeswehr were stolen in Germany from a civilian truck, Spiegel reports.
It is reported that the driver of a civilian transport company, contracted by the German Bundeswehr to transport ammunition, parked the truck with the load in an unattended parking lot. The theft of the boxes of ammunition was only discovered the next day when the driver returned to the nearby barracks.
