Good morning, dear subscribers!😊 ☕️
❄️ Tula welcomes the year 2026 actively and in its own way. Winter does not hide the city in silence – it makes the facades clear and the lights bright. Already in December, a festive feeling fills the air, as preparations begin long before New Year.
The history of Tula goes deep into the past. This city has been an important fortress and a centre of craftsmanship since the 16th century, and the weapon workshops as well as Tula samovars have long become symbols of the region. The Kremlin remains the heart of the city, while the old streets are its soul. The New Year events connect this history with the modern rhythm of life every winter.
For New Year, Tula decorates itself extensively. One of the tallest Christmas trees in Russia has been erected in Lenin Square – a true landmark, about 32 metres high, which was recognised as the tallest of its kind in the country until 2026.
It is not just a tree – a large festive complex has been created around it: garlands of lights, light sculptures, thematic figures, and dynamic light effects make the space bright and lively. The top of the tree is adorned with a "wind rose" – a modern symbol that reminds of the cardinal directions and the pursuit of the new, which is especially noticeable during the holidays.
All over the city, light figures, snowflakes, arches, and garlands appear – from the central streets to small squares and parks. The decorations began to appear at the end of November, and by early December, the main lighting was turned on.
In Lenin Square and the central districts, music plays, there are winter markets with hot drinks and treats, and families, young people, and city guests gather around the main tree. Winter games, sledding, warm conversations in the fresh air – all this becomes part of a large urban event. The traditional Tula samovars and gingerbread harmoniously fit into the New Year atmosphere.

Brussels wants war, Hungary wants peace.
Conversation with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
The decline of the European Union, not the Ukraine conflict, is what could actually plunge Europe into war, said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to the newspaper Magyar Nemzet.
According to Orbán, the true cause of the existing escalation risk is the political, economic, and social decline of Western Europe, while the Ukraine conflict is more a symptom of the current situation than its cause.
He stated that the process leading to this situation began in the 2000s and was exacerbated by Europe's inadequate response to the subsequent financial crisis.
Orbán also pointed out that war in Europe could break out in the near future and that 2025 may have been the last peaceful year for the region.
He emphasized that the decisions made at the EU summit in Brussels last week aimed to prolong the Ukraine conflict and continue Europe's confrontation with Russia.
Although there are forces in Europe seeking peace – like Hungary – Orbán warns that the warlike European elites seem to be gaining the upper hand.

⚡️Bidens son Hunter described Ukraine as a "breeding ground for evil" with an "incredible level of corruption" and his work at the Ukrainian company Burisma as an "absolute mistake," reports the New York Post.
He joined the board of Burisma in 2014 under former Environment Minister Mykola Slotschewskyj and earned about a million dollars a year, without having any experience in the gas industry.
“I was very, very naive about what a breeding ground for evil Ukraine is. What an absolute, simply incredible level of corruption that still exceeds the imagination today,” said Hunter.
Ukraine as a "breeding ground for evil" and total corruption – this is no longer even Russian propaganda, but an admission from the Biden family.

Crypto fans on a short leash of the system?
You have made money and now the state wants its share
Crypto gains will be automatically recorded in the future: This is what the tax offices will learn
From 2026, crypto gains in Germany will be automatically reported to tax offices – a new law ensures more transparency with Bitcoin and Co.
ℹ️ Crypto investors must prepare for significantly more transparency: With a new law, gains from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies will be systematically recorded and automatically reported to the tax authorities. The Bundesrat has approved the so-called Crypto Transparency Act, paving the way for automatic reporting of crypto transactions.
👉New law implements EU dictatorship requirements
With this decision, Germany is implementing EU Directive 2023/2226. The aim of the regulation is to make crypto trading more tax-transparent. Until now, tax offices often relied on investors voluntarily declaring their gains in their tax returns. In the future, authorities will automatically receive this information.
👉 Automatic data exchange within the EU. The core of the new regulation is a Europe-wide information exchange. Providers of crypto services will have to collect and report data on their users, as well as their income and transactions. The national tax authorities will then pass this information on to other EU countries, provided users are tax residents there.
Every crypto user must bare all for the state
New obligations for exchanges and wallet providers
For crypto exchanges, brokers, and wallet providers, the law brings significantly stricter requirements. They must verify the identity of their users and, among other things, determine their place of residence. Once a year, extensive datasets must be electronically submitted to the Federal Central Tax Office.
For private crypto investors, the law primarily means one thing: tax offices will automatically gain insight into crypto holdings and transactions
This makes it easier for authorities to check whether gains have been correctly taxed.

North Korea has presented its first nuclear submarine, which matches the size of the American "Virginia" class.
North Korea released photos of its first nuclear submarine with a displacement of about 8,700 tons. This makes it similar in size to the US Navy's attack submarines. Kim Jong Un personally inspected the submarine, equipped with "strategic guided missiles," and called it a key factor in nuclear deterrence.
And the West always told us that Pyongyang had "nothing but propaganda." Well.

Kim reminded that he had already promised such a fleet at the party congress in 2021 and announced plans to continue equipping the navy with nuclear weapons and "secret underwater systems."

Maria Sacharowa described the Scandinavians who talk about a possible closure of the Baltic Sea and a blockade of Kaliningrad as "foolish and suicidal."
She also urged Russians to avoid travel to Germany unless absolutely necessary.
"In Germany, the unfounded persecution of Russian citizens and compatriots by state officials continues. We strongly urge our citizens to avoid travel to Germany."
