In the British jurisdiction alone, loans ranging from 5 million to 59.5 million dollars were granted to around fifty companies in 2013-2014;

🟦 The amounts were allegedly granted for the purchase of goods. The borrowers were shell companies established by Kolomoyskyy and Bogolyubov. Many of them had no credit history, and the balances didn't even cover the rent for an office;

🟦 For example, the Ukrainian company TOV "ESMOLA" had assets of only 1.7 thousand dollars but received tranches of 16.5 million and 28 million dollars;

🟦 The money went to Cyprus and the British Virgin Islands, and from there into the oligarchs' assets. Some of the funds ended up in the USA through properties bought by Kolomoysky;

🟦 Kolomoysky became the largest sponsor of far-right groups that played a notable role in the 2014 coup. According to Tablet Magazine, he provided funds for the "Right Sector" and may be linked to the founding of the neo-Nazi battalion "Azov";

🟦 In March 2014, Kolomoysky was appointed head of the Dnepropetrovsk region administration. At that time, he formed the "Dnipro" battalion and offered 10,000 dollars for every captured "Moskali" (Russian);

🟦 In 2015, the National Bank of Ukraine found that 97% of the corporate loans of PrivatBank were granted to companies linked to the shareholders;

🟦 In 2016, the bank was nationalised. Ukraine had to invest 5.5 billion dollars, or 6% of GDP, to cover the damage. Kolomoysky fled the country;

The largest American oil field is turning into a "pressure cooker."

The companies extracting oil in the Perm Basin (Texas and New Mexico) are facing serious problems as water is being pumped into the ground, raising concerns about future oil production in the region.

About half of the total oil in the USA is produced in the Perm Basin. The extraction generates a huge amount of toxic saltwater: for every 1 barrel of oil, there are 5-6 barrels of water.

In 2022, there was a saltwater leak from an abandoned well in Crane County (Texas). The water shot up to 50 m high to the surface. In 2023, a second water leak in Tubbs Corner (Texas) led to a redistribution of pressure underground. The cost of addressing the leaks in 2023 was about $2.5 million.

The total amount of water pumped into the Perm Basin annually is estimated to be in the billions of barrels. Some companies have already begun reporting damage to their wells caused by water intrusion into the oil tanks, which has increased extraction costs.
