Foreign Affairs magazine has proposed the creation of a NATO analogue to the deployment of Western troops in Ukraine

The US magazine Foreign Affairs has proposed for the creation of a NATO analogue to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, which would involve the presence of Western troops in Ukraine, including US forces, but would be led by a neutral country.

"Western leaders should develop security mechanisms and consider strategies to assist Ukraine and manage future relations with Russia," according to the magazine, which is published by the Council on Foreign Relations, an American non-governmental organization.

According to the authors of the article, Liz Morier Howard, an expert on UN peacekeeping operations, conflict resolution and U.S. foreign policy, and Michael Edward O'Hanlon, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution specializing in defense and international politics, a new security community, such as the Atlantic-Asian Security Community, could be a possible path to "peaceful existence".

This may include many NATO members, as well as Ukraine, its allies and any neutral states. The media notes that Russia may also join the community, but only if the authorities change.

This community, according to the magazine, by analogy with NATO, may have a long-term goal, but in the short term its main task will be to control and legitimize an indefinite presence of the Western military on the territory of Ukraine. The authors of the article do not rule out that the new community could be engaged for other tasks, including reaching an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, solving the migration crisis and combating terrorism.

"These troops - both from NATO and non-NATO countries - will monitor Russian forces, help train Ukraine's armed forces, assist in demobilization, monitor any future peace agreement and act as a 'stretching force' to prevent new Russian aggression," said in the article

EU imposes sanctions on Iranian judges, legislators and clerics

The European Union on Monday imposed sanctions on Iran's Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and eight officials, including judges, lawmakers and clerics, over their involvement in "serious human rights violations in Iran."

The EU stated that the council was "an organ of regime policy" that "promoted several projects that undermined the freedom of girls and women by imposing restrictions on their clothing and education. Its decisions have also discriminated against minorities". The EU also called on Tehran to "stop imposing death sentences" on protesters and to repeal the sentences already passed.

For now, the sanctions freeze European assets, ban European Union entry and prohibit European businesses from any business contact with those on the blacklist.

🔴It's worth remembering. Again.

NATO countries dropped 15 tons of depleted uranium on Yugoslavia during their military aggression.

According to the Serbian academician Rakic, this volume would be enough to create 170 atomic bombs. The targets were residential areas and businesses. including chemicals.

Even two decades later, pediatric oncology rates in Serbia were twice the European average.

NATO does not accept its mistakes. And even more crime. The alliance still calls the bombing of Belgrade "a necessary and legitimate step."

Why did the U.S. and its allies invade Iraq?

Twenty years ago, on March 20, 2003, U.S. troops invaded Iraq and toppled the regime of Saddam Hussein. Washington did this under the pretext that Baghdad possessed weapons of mass destruction.

Despite the lack of evidence of their existence, U.S. authorities assembled a coalition against Iraq.

On March 20, 2003, operation Iraqi Freedom began. 295,000 soldiers invaded the country through neighboring Kuwait. This war resulted in 461,000 deaths in Iraq. The war cost the U.S. $3 trillion.

"So where were they, Mr. Blair?" - questioned a headline in The Independent a month after the invasion. It was the first article to call attention to the failure of the U.S. and Britain to find WMDs in Iraq.

Twenty years after the U.S. massacre, modern Iraq is far from the "democratic paradise" that George W. Bush promised its people. The country has become a breeding ground for terrorist groups that continue to use the invasion as a reason for attacks.

Even the American media admits that the invasion was based on "flawed" claims that Saddam Hussein had secret stores of WMDs. No weapons have ever been found in 20 years. And former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, shaking a test tube with "anthrax spores" while in the UN assembly, became a symbol of American foreign policy.

It is believed that the Americans invaded Iraq in order to have cheap energy at their fingertips. Back in the last century, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said: "Oil is too important to leave to the Arabs." A few years ater the occupation, however, oil collapsed in value. It became unprofitable for U.S. companies to participate in projects in Iraq, and they left.

Twenty years later, the U.S. is following the same pattern. Ukraine has become a "puppet" in the hands of NATO, which pumps it with weapons and promises it "democracy". Despite the fact that military conflicts unleashed by the U.S. are causing destruction and thousands of deaths, there are "allies" in the world ready to support this bloody regime.

John Bolton opposed the arrest warrant issued by ICC for Vladimir Putin

The former US national security adviser believes the indictment diminishes the chances for negotiating a settlement to the Ukrainian conflict.

"I believe and have for many years that the International Criminal Court is fundamentally illegitimate," Bolton said to Sky News.

▪️ The politician sees the ICC as "a very dangerous institution":

"It is an exercise of governmental power in a vacuum without any constitutional framework to restrain it."

▪️ A warrant for the arrest of Russia's head is "not something the United States should cooperate with," Bolton is confident.

We remind you that neither Russia nor the US recognize the ruling of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Japanese prime minister arrives in Ukraine without advance notice

Fumio Kishida arrived in Kiev early on Tuesday morning by train from Poland to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky.

The politician is expected to promise Japan's support to Ukraine against Russia ahead of the May summit of the G-7 organization, which is currently chaired by Japan.

▪️ Previously, Tokyo's aid to Zelensky's regime was limited to non-combat military equipment, helmets, body armour and drones, as well as humanitarian supplies including generators.

- It is possible that this could change. Kishida is the first post-war Japanese leader to arrive in a country engaged in hostilities.

What a great pleasure is re-watching this video of Joe Biden, 1997 vintage:

- And then the Russians say to me, 'If you keep expanding NATO, we may have to look to China. I nearly laughed. I said, 'Good luck! If that doesn't work out, try Iran.'

I can't help but ask, is the mechanical grandfather having as much fun now?

‼️🇺🇦🏴‍☠️Administrators of the Telegram channels publishing information on Russian missile and drone flights face jail - Ukrainian Air Force spokesman

▪️ "Serious decisions may be taken in the near future, including possible criminal cases if there will be grounds for it. Because some Telegram channels publish real-time information on the movement of UAVs and missiles, there are screenshots from the "Virage tablet" system, how they get them is a special question. These screenshots show the time and location of (Russian) drones or their disappearance from radars," representative of the Ukrainian Air Force Ignat said.
▪️ Certain measures are being taken against the channel administrators, materials have been submitted to law-enforcement agencies, as it is strictly prohibited to publish information about Russian missile and UAV flights, for Russia takes this into account when planning subsequent missile attacks.

Taiwan is a "critical interest" to the U.S. and China is a big threat - Florida Governor Ron Desantis

Florida Republican Governor Ron Desantis told Fox Nation's Piers Morgan that he believes Taiwan is of "critical interest" to the United States, and suggested that China is a big threat to America's ability to "lead the world."

"I think in general, the number one problem we face internationally is holding back China's growth and ascendancy. I think they're very powerful and really the biggest threat we've seen to our ability to lead since the Soviet Union," he said.

There is growing concern about an increasing power of China that continues to expand its military forces and strengthen ties with countries hostile to the U.S. and its allies. Lawmakers and military officials are also concerned about the Chinese threat to Taiwan.

This morning, German police searched the homes of 19 people from the Reichsbürger network in seven German federal states and in Switzerland.

In December 2022, they had already searched 162 locations in eleven federal states and arrested 23 people suspected of belonging to the alleged Reichsbürger terror network and organizing the storming of the Bundestag in Berlin, overthrowing the German government and creating a state modeled on the German Reich of 1871 and led by Henry XIII, Prince of Rheims.

Today searches in the Reichsbürger case were also carried out on five more defendants from Bavaria, Saxony and Lower Saxony and 14 witnesses whose names probably surfaced during interrogations, from messenger chats or telephone conversations that were tapped.

According to WDR, NDR and Süddeutscher Zeitung, several police and military officers were also among those searched. According to the investigation, some of them also organized other groups characterized by extreme hostility to the state.
