The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
The head of the defense department reported to the Commander-in-Chief on the progress of the surprise inspection of the Pacific Fleet.
- More than 25,000 servicemen, 167 warships and support vessels, including 12 submarines, and 89 aircraft and helicopters are involved in it.
- The second stage of the surprise inspection is currently under way. The grouping formed in the far maritime zone is making its way into the southern Sea of Okhotsk and carrying out combat manoeuvring and underwater detection tasks.
- The issues of ensuring the combat stability of strategic missile submarines and their readiness to use weapons were practiced.
- Tactical air defense exercises have been launched. For designating the enemy, naval aviation aircraft are involved.
- On 18 April, the final stage of the inspection begins, which includes the assault ship groups together with the coastal missile divisions practicing the tasks of carrying out missile strikes with electronic launches.
- Upon completion of the inspection, the fleet forces will return to their permanent deployment locations.

China calls on the G7 to stop intervening in other countries' internal affairs
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin today urged G7 states to reflect on their own problems, to abandon the Cold War mentality and stop intervening in the internal affairs of other countries.
Wenbin made these remarks at the daily briefing, adding that despite China's strong position and the facts, the G7 foreign ministers meeting discussed China's internal affairs. In essence, the G7 slandered and discredited Beijing.
The Chinese foreign ministry spokesman also added that China is a responsible, large country that acts firmly in accordance with the UN Charter and basic principles of international law and is committed to building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Polish resolution demands war reparations from Germany - Euractiv
Poland's cabinet has passed a resolution demanding reparations from Germany for damages caused during World War II, the office of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in a statement.

The resolution concerns "the topic of reparations, compensation and solutions related to the German invasion of Poland in 1939 and further occupation."
Based on the document, the Polish authorities believe that no agreement on war reparations from Germany was made in the past.
Berlin has consistently rejected Polish demands for reparations, arguing that all financial claims related to World War II were settled by the Two Plus Four Treaty.

The IMF introduces a new "global currency" called UMU that will "monitor all transactions"
The international banking elite has just introduced a new global currency, but 99 percent of the world's population has no idea what just happened.
The DCMA, the globalist membership organization of sovereign states, central banks, commercial and retail banks, and other financial institutions, confirmed the launch of the international CBDC this week at the IMF's Spring 2023 Meetings.
According to the IMF, the CBDC will "enforce banking regulations" and "oversee all transactions."
The Universal Monetary Unit (UMU), also known as "Unicoin" and denoted by the symbol Ü, can conduct transactions in any settlement currency that is legal tender and can be configured to operate in accordance with the regulations of each participating country's central bank.
DCMA Executive Director Darrell Hubbard, the "chief architect" of UMU, says UMU strengthens the international monetary system by helping the IMF fulfill its stated mandate to ensure the economic and financial stability of member countries.

The bottom line is that this is an attempt by the global elite to introduce a single unit of account. The next step is the irrelevance of central banks, then national currencies, and thus the loss of sovereignty and abandonment of local governments - all according to Schwab. It will probably come down to a simple division of the world, with one globalist state and all the others, and of course the endless struggle to try to pull other states into the currency trap.

Polish President Andrzej Duda accepted Zelensky's words at a press conference and welcomed Ukraine to the European Union. This is an indication that Poland plans to annex the westernmost regions of Ukraine, i.e. five regions: Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk.
The Ukrainian Parliament - Supreme Council passed a law, No. 7550, that Polish citizens do not need residence and work permits, and can work in state institutions and even law enforcement agencies. Polish nationalists had long demanded the return of the city of Lviv, but the largest city in western Ukraine was awarded to the USSR when the borders of Europe were redrawn by Stalin, Churchill, and Roosevelt at the post-World War II conferences.

AFU fuel storage facilities were allegedly targeted in the Vinnytsia region and around Poltava.
▪️Wagner PMC assault groups are conducting an offensive near Khromove in order to cut off one of the two remaining roads to Bakhmut.
The enemy understands the importance of the road and is trying to counterattack to push Russian units back.
