Ukraine has admitted that its troops are paying a "terrible price" for Artyomovsk because of mistakes in defense. Army Maj. Gen. Sergei Krivonos said that because of mistakes made, literally every scrap of land in the city is "covered in blood" of untrained and unprepared connoscripts:
"We are paying a terrible price for this city, and the issue is that some made mistakes and did not prepare the city for the necessary defense."
He added that there remains a problem with the training of the mobilized, which directly affects the situation in the city.

Ukrainians to be evicted
The Cypriot authorities are evicting Ukrainian refugees from hotels.
According to Alpha News, the decision was taken due to the upcoming holiday season. 3,000 people are supposed to be evicted.
Ukrainians are protesting against this decision of the Cypriot authorities, but they apparently forgot to ask.

G7's “kamikaze-like export ban on Russia” would undermine prospects of peace, Global Times states.
"If such a decision is made, the world will only see severer energy, food and economic crises. In that case, no one would be the winner - neither Russia, Ukraine, the G7 nor the US. It would only plunge humanity into more global conflicts and problems," it stated.
Meanwhile, The Japan Times reports that Japan and the European Union have opposed a US proposal for the G7 to ban all exports to Russia.

Meanwhile, the family of Yevgeny Borisov, the head of military enlistment offices of the Odessa region, lives in a villa in Spain, according to Ukrainian sources.
Ex-member of the Ukrainian parliament Yevgeny Mosiychuk indicated the exact address of the Borisov family: 5, Av. Playas del Duque, 2, 29660 Marbella, Málaga. According to Mosiychuk, Borisov regularly visits his wife there.
When Russian military operation in Ukrain began, Borisov became really rich, Russian newspaper AiF informs.
Men caught in the streets by the military enlistment officers can free themselves for $ 1,000, but this is not a payment for exemption from the draft, just for the right to run until the next capture. To get a health exemption from the draft, people need to pay a bribe of at least $10,000, the paper said.

Kiev plans to take the conflict beyond continental Europe to the Far East and North Africa, according to The American Conservative. America is to blame.
According to NSA reports, Kirill Budanov, the head of Ukrainian intelligence, was planning attacks on the PM Wagner group in the African country of Mali and on the Russian military in Syria. Whether the US gave the go-ahead for these operations is unknown.
"Aren't these plans for a world war?" - asks the author of the article and stresses that the responsibility for possible provocations would lie with the States. After all, without their money, Ukraine would already be militarily and financially dead and unable to provoke a global conflict.

China develops systems to hijack U.S. satellites - NH Politician
According to recently leaked Pentagon documents, Beijing is developing cyberweapons capable of intercepting U.S. satellite systems during an armed conflict.
"China's ability to penetrate a core network or imitate a specific command control link could allow it to seize control of a satellite," the document said.
The U.S. and its partners are investing heavily in new, improved satellite systems to mitigate the "threat."

In the Lvov region, employees of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) found a warehouse with humanitarian aid of unspecified origin. There they found food, children's goods, bedding, household chemicals, hygiene products and clothes. Only canned goods were 74 tons worth 20 million UAH.
"BEB detectives received permission from the court to search the premises. Investigations have been going on for the fourth day - an inventory and qualification of goods is being carried out and their origin is being established," Valery Tatsienko, acting head of the territorial department of the BEB in the Lvov region, said.
