❗️Kiev is planning to attack the Zaporozhye NPP on the night of 5 July with high-precision weapons and kamikaze drones, Karchaa said.

According to him, Ukraine also intends to hit the plant with a "Tochka-U" missile with a warhead filled with radioactive waste.

As previously explained, ZNPP is perfectly safe. Nothing Ukraine can do will cause a radiological disaster in Energodar.

Can Ukraine fake such a thing, however? Fortunately the answer is also no. But first, let's address the "why" of this narrative and why it's being spooled up.
Ukraine's strategy from nearly day 1 has always been two narratives. First, "we will hold here, build an army, and then counterattack".
Second, "NATO will intervene and save us."

Well, narrative one has run its course and is now dying out. Ukraine held out in Mariupol and counterattacked lost, held out in Severodonetsk and counterattacked lost, held out in Lisichansk and counterattacked lost, and in Artemovsk counterattacked lost, and Schroedinger's Offensive is now, ahem, "Counterattacking".

So now it comes down to narrative two. "NATO will step in and save us."

Can Ukraine detonate a "dirty bomb" or otherwise trigger a radiological incident at ZNPP?
Yes, they certainly can - but such an event cannot be confused for anything but a false flag operation.
Nuclear bombs have a distinct double-flash phenomenon and the fuel stored at ZNPP has a distinct spectral signature. Neither of these can be faked.

If Ukraine tries to "fake" a nuclear detonation or a radiological incident at the ZNPP, it will be clear to the entire world immediately that it is a fake.
Maybe they hope the US/W. Europe will play along with the story? Okey - what happens when China, India, Brazil, and others don't play along?


Writing's on the wall, and no narrative will save it. Everyone but Zelensky and a few US politicians understand this now.

So if anxious, calm your horses. Narrative is all they have left.

▪️The AFU once again attempted a drone strike against the Moscow agglomeration.

Thanks to the coordinated work of air defense and electronic warfare means, all the vehicles were neutralized.

West offers Ukraine alternative to NATO membership - Politico

The former head of the Munich Security Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger, has put forward proposals to strengthen Ukraine's security without the need for the country to join NATO.

The strategy is to strengthen military assistance to Kiev in response to Russian shelling.

Ischinger also suggested giving Ukraine the right to take part in NATO summits as a permanent guest without voting rights.

Combined Arms Army to be deployed in the Northern Fleet

This is stated in the Izvestia newspaper article published on Monday, July 3, 2023.

"The Russian Defence Ministry has decided to form a new combined arms army within the Northern Fleet. The association will be deployed on the basis of an army corps. The army will include motorized rifle brigades, regiments and divisions. Their personnel will be trained to conduct combat operations in Polar conditions," the newspaper reported, citing sources in the Russian military department.

Currently, the Coastal Forces of the Northern Fleet include the 14th Army Corps with two Arctic motorized rifle brigades, a brigade of marines, missile, engineering and other units.

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke about the intention to deploy motorised infantry divisions on the basis of the Northern Fleet brigades, in response to the plans of Finland and Sweden to join NATO.

Ukraine once again asks to join NATO

It has never happened before and here it is again - advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Mykhaylo Podolyak is asking NATO to make "concrete decisions" regarding the prospects of joining the alliance.

"The current NATO summit in Vilnius surpasses in its importance all the summits of the North Atlantic Alliance since the infamous Bucharest. The political leaders of the alliance countries today must be aware of their literally global and historical responsibility to the planet," Podolyak said.

The presidential adviser once again asked Western partners for military assistance and again hinted that Ukraine wants to join NATO in the foreseeable future.

We shall remind you that last week Podolyak said that Ukraine was a de facto member of the alliance.

NATO has a year to admit Ukraine to its club, The Times reported. Then Trump will come and clean up the mess.

"The alliance has at most a year to do so. Not only because NATO plans to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2024 with pageantry, but also because next year's summit could be Joe Biden's last, since Trump could become president again.
