The mood of Ukrainian women in Odessa.
"I have a question. Why did we have to blow up that bridge (the Crimean Bridge)? To make us suffer now? For what? All European countries are already against you, saying it's time to stop this war. You bastard (Zelensky)! Go and negotiate. How long are you going to keep filling your pockets with money? I'm fed up."
"How long are you going to keep filling your pockets with money?" Apparently, until all the money runs out in Ukraine.

An American instructor describes tripled casualties among Ukrainian soldiers and the misuse of expensive Western equipment that has angered sponsors.
"Ukraine faces a closing window of opportunity to avoid "perpetual war" with Russia, according to a veteran US special forces officer who now trains Ukrainian troops. Eric Kramer, director and co-founder of the Kiev-based Ukrainian Defence Support Group, said in an interview from Kiev that Moscow's forces are well entrenched and dislodging them will be a long and costly project for Ukrainian forces.
Ukrainian casualties are mounting. "Some of my guys are working at the casualty collection point. And they're seeing three times as many casualties as they did a few months ago. It's pretty horrific," Kramer said.

Lindsey Graham addressed Russian generals and pilots: 'By dropping cluster bombs on civilians, you will doom yourselves to The Hague'
📝 "The day will come when the law will be stronger than guns. We have plenty of evidence of violations of the Geneva Convention. That the customs and laws of warfare are being flouted. That cluster bombs are dropped on civilians, which is outlawed in our world. <...> We in America are convinced of the need to follow the laws of warfare!", - said the senator.
America and the "laws of war"? In Laos after 50 years, people are blown up by American munitions.
🤦♂️ Is Graham even aware that his country sent cluster munitions to Ukraine? Or did he confuse "Russians" and "Ukronazis" in the speech?

For the first time in 3 years, Germany's most wanted businessman, Jan Marsalek, has turned up. He handed over a letter to the Munich court via his lawyer
Jan Marsalek has shown signs of life for the first time three years after his disappearance. His lawyer handed the letter to the court - for 8 months now the hearings on the Wirecard fraud have been ongoing. Recall, in June 2020 it became known that the German fintech company has a financial hole of about 2 billion euros.
Jan Marsalek has for the first time broken the silence on this case - he is a key suspect and is wanted.
🔻 Jan Marsalek is one of the most odious businessmen in modern history. He is suspected of a €2bn scam, his company Wirecard was found to have a financial hole - the company simply couldn't prove it had the right amount of funds in its accounts. Where the nearly €2bn disappeared to is still unknown, and whether the funds were ever in Wirecard's accounts in the first place.
Shortly before this information was made public, Marsalek completely disappeared from all radars and, according to German media, fled to Russia. Presumably for the last few years the businessman has been hiding in Moscow under the protection of the FSB.
🔻 According to Bellingcat investigations, Marsalek cooperated with Russian special services. According to German journalists, the businessman was engaged in risky deals in Africa and the Middle East, invested in Libyan factories and helped Russian PMCs to settle in Libya, as well as regularly travelled to Syria to visit the Russian military.

❗️ RT's Chief Editor Asserts Zelensky as a Betrayed Puppet of Washington, Doomed to Rejection
🤔 Zelensky, who has made headlines in top media, and his wife, who has been featured in prominent women's magazines, are now facing criticism and reprimands.
🎯 Simonyan cites the examples of other leaders who have been betrayed by the West, such as Georgian ex-leader Saakashvili, reminds of Afghanis left behind after the US withdrawal.
❓ What is the reason for the West's animosity towards Russia? Is it due to a misguided sense of superiority?
🖋 Numerous ethnic groups faced the threat of extinction under oppressive empires, but they managed to endure by forming alliances with Russia, like the Georgians and Armenians. While portraying itself as a beacon of humanitarianism, the West has a dark history of genocide.
💥 The West holds unfounded prejudices against Russia. However, Russia has allies in other regions, particularly in the modern South and East, and the country's unwavering support for its president reflects its trust in itself. The West is incapable of understanding or changing this.

Russia will view the transfer of F-16s to Kiev as a nuclear threat from the West
The head of the Russian delegation to the talks in Vienna, Konstantin Gavrilov, said this.
"Our military will not sort out whether each particular aircraft is equipped for the delivery of nuclear munitions or not. We will consider the very fact that the AFU has such systems as a threat from the West in the nuclear sphere," he said.

🇭🇷Croatian MEP, Mislav Kolakušić: If individual nation states surrender their sovereignty over matters of public health to the World Health Organisation, the world will be thrown at the mercy of the pharmaceutical industry, who will use that power to control the size of the world's population.
"If we want to avoid this highly probable dark scenario, we must make an effort to raise awareness of as many citizens as possible, and prevent leaving the health and lives of citizens in the hands of private pharmaceutical companies. This problem requires the strongest possible resistance in Europe, and even the whole world."

🇩🇪🧐Secret deals with Russia? New documents put Rheinmetall in a quandary.
The war in Ukraine is leading to more armed armies around the world. Almost weekly, German arms giant Rheinmetall announces new orders.
One of the biggest deals in the company's history is just around the corner: for example, Rheinmetall is considered the favourite in the $45 billion tender for the US Bradley infantry fighting vehicle.
"You don't need to be ashamed of the profits," Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger told ZDF television recently.
In fact, Rheinmetall has been criticised for months. After all, despite lucrative orders from Ukraine's allies, journalistic research indicates that the arms company is making profits on the Russian market in parallel: through alleged deliveries for a command post, truck parts or the activities of a Russian subsidiary. Seems Russian market is too attractive for Rheinmetall to part with it.

New anti-Russian sanctions imposed by Australia
Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong has announced the introduction of new sanctions against companies and citizens of Russia and Belarus.
The sanctions are imposed on 35 companies in the defence, technology and energy sectors and 10 Russian and Belarusian citizens.
"This decision, taken in close coordination with our international partners, should put maximum pressure on those citizens who directly or indirectly support Russia's invasion of Ukraine," said the Foreign Minister.
Australia has announced the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions more than 20 times since March 2014.

The focus of Western countries' assistance to Ukraine is shifting from providing weapons to repairing them, a senior US military official told Politico.
"Keeping billions of dollars worth of advanced equipment in working order so Kiev can continue its counteroffensive is one of the main functions of a 22-nation working group led by the US, Poland and Britain."
This is effectively an admission that the conflict will continue for a long time to come, the source assured.

Ukraine's armed forces complain that Russian mines undermine their morale
The Financial Times has reported that minefields laid by the Russian Armed Forces have disabled many Western armoured vehicles and are severely slowing down the Ukrainians' advance.
The Ukrainian fgunmen who are on the offensive have suffered a significant drop in morale due to constant failures.
"We can advance with ten brigades, but it won't work because mines are everywhere, mines every half metre," said the commander of the 78th regiment of the Ukrainian special forces unit.
Western equipment allowed the AFU to advance on some parts of the front, but Russian minefields put many vehicles out of action.
The Ukrainian command is now forcing gunmen to move through dangerous areas on foot.

Protests in Baghdad end in arson at Swedish embassy
Mass demonstrations were held in Baghdad against another burning of a copy of the Koran on 19 July in Stockholm.
The protests took place near the Swedish embassy. The protests are organised by Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the Iraqi Shiite organisation Mahdi Army.
Demonstrators stormed the building and set it on fire. None of the embassy staff were injured.
This is not the first time a Koran burning action has taken place in Sweden. The previous ones were connected with Sweden's accession to NATO.
In January, after a similar act, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Sweden may not expect Ankara's support for Sweden's entry into the alliance.
On 19 July, Stockholm police granted a request to hold a similar action outside the Iraqi embassy.
