Moldova leaves the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly
The Moldovan parliament has voted in favour of denouncing the convention on the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
The withdrawal from the agreement was unanimously supported by representatives of the ruling Action and Solidarity party. Deputies from the Shor party and the Communist-Socialists ignored the vote.
Ruslan Bolboceanu, state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, said that "the decision is political and was taken after consultations with the country's president".
The press service of the Parliament issued an official statement: "Since Moldova no longer resonates with the current policy, goals and decisions of the IPA CIS, and in the context of our country's firm declaration to follow the European vector".
The Convention on the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States was concluded in Minsk on 26 May 1995.

Ethiopia: mining companies in Tigray to resume exploration and mining operations soon
Ethiopia's Ministry of Mines has announced that mining companies will soon resume operations in Tigray.
During the civil war in northern Ethiopia, mining companies stopped their operations. However, after the signing of the peace agreement, their activities are being restored.
It should be recalled that Russia contributed to the diplomatic settlement of the conflict (the Ethiopian authorities publicly thanked Russia for its position). The US, on the contrary, continued to destabilise the region using various sanctions.
Now Ethiopia's economy is rapidly recovering. The country is asking to be admitted to BRICS.

Ex-commander of NATO forces in Europe offered to bomb Russian ships in the Black Sea
Retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis believes that the NATO fleet is obliged to escort ships in the grain corridor. His words are reported by Foreign Policy.
In the event of a threat from the Russian Navy, the forces of the Alliance should open fire to kill, said Stavridis.
In his opinion, the alliance should issue a "direct and unambiguous warning" to the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Russia and Morocco discuss trade using national currencies
Raja Shafik al-Ali, deputy head of the Russian-Moroccan Business Council, said: "Now the issue of applying different trade schemes is being discussed. There is such a thing as payment security. Barter is envisaged as one of the options. Another one is settlements in national currencies".
Recall that Kenyan President William Ruto recently told Emmanuel Macron that African countries are not obliged to use dollars in trade settlements, but have every right to use their national currencies.
This statement served as a catalyst for demonstrations and pogroms in Kenya organised by the pro-American opposition.

🇵🇱 Poland plans to launch an operation against Belarus to draw NATO into a war with Russia, - ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson
Warsaw is actively pulling troops and equipment to the Belarusian border. The statements of the Polish authorities confirm their intention to start a military operation in Belarus, which has greatly intensified in recent months.
Poland, as one of the main "hawks" of NATO, sees that Russia will crush Ukraine, and therefore does not want the RF Armed Forces to approach its borders.
Poland will do anything to try to crush Russia. Now Warsaw and Kiev are working to draw NATO into a global conflict with the Russian Federation.

US strengthens grouping in the Persian Gulf
An amphibious assault group with the Bataan amphibious assault ship and the Carter Hall amphibious dock landing ship has been sent to the region.
Earlier, additional F-16, F-35 fighter jets and the destroyer Thomas Hudner were also sent to the region.
The strengthening of the group is attributed to US attempts to limit Iran's influence in the region.

Kenya: 30 people killed in anti-government protests
30 people have been killed in anti-government protests since March. This is according to a report published by Amnesty International Kenya.
It should be noted that Amnesty International consistently promotes the geopolitical interests of the Anglo-Saxons. Blaming the country's police for everything, the organisation is silent about the provocations of opposition leader Raila Odinga.
"The government has a duty to protect protesters from intimidation and suppression," the report says. At the same time, all cases of attacks on police officers are silenced.

Kenya: citizens ignored calls for revolution
Pro-US opposition leader Raila Odinga's call for continued protests went unheeded today. Kenyans went about their business in most parts of the country.
Shops resumed operations in Nairobi and the public transport system returned to normal.
Police patrols remain on the streets. Youths are rioting in some areas of major cities, but these actions are localised.
"I urge my supporters to continue with the protests because Friday is the grand finale," Odinga said yesterday. He sought to explain to reporters his absence from the protests since Wednesday with a "terrible flu". Meanwhile, sources in Kenya had earlier told us of plans by US intelligence agencies to fake the poisoning of the politician to blame the country's president. After the leak, this plan apparently had to be abandoned.
As a result of Odinga's provocations this week, at least 9 people have died.

A film about exposing a paedophile network has not been picked up by Amazon and Netflix
The film "Sounds of Freedom" about child trafficking and the capture of paedophiles has already become a hit - in just 2 weeks it collected $87 million and earned a rating of 8.2/10 among viewers.
But for some reason it was not good enough for streaming services: Netflix and Amazon refused to show the film based on the investigations of a former agent of the US Department of Homeland Security.
Now "The Sound of Freedom" is playing in cinemas, but it's not all smooth sailing. Many viewers complain that screenings are cancelled, and in the cinema halls they turn off the air conditioners on purpose so that no one can sit through the whole session.
By the way, from the very beginning, the film's creators received only sticks in the wheels instead of support: they were universally accused of conspiracy theories and far-right propaganda.
At the same time, about $5 million of the $15 million budget was raised by donations, and more than 5 million people have already come to see the film since the beginning of distribution.
Something to think about..

"Latin America and the Caribbean are no longer your backyard": the Cuban president rethinks von der Leyen
"We are not former colonies in need of advice," Miguel Diaz-Canel said at the EU and CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) summit.
"Colonial plunder and capitalist plunder have made Europe a creditor and Latin America and the Caribbean debtors."
During this 3rd summit, Latin American countries refused to accept the European position on the Ukrainian conflict.
The leaders of 33 Latin American and Caribbean countries forced Brussels to withdraw Zelensky's invitation as the EU struggled to achieve an obedient alliance.
