Yesterday's attack on the port of Reni on the Danube was for the first time carried out directly at the borders of NATO, writes the New York Times (the alliance includes neighboring Romania).

Russia has "never struck Ukrainian facilities so close to the territory subject to the obligations of the military alliance," the publication believes.

This calls into question the further export of Ukrainian grain.

Through the Danube ports, Ukraine exports about two million tons per month. But strikes on Reni "could prevent commercial ships from using the port in the short term and increase the cost of insurance."

Before the invasion, the Danube River Delta was rarely used for the export of Ukrainian grain, “but over the past year, it has become indispensable,” since the ports worked outside the framework of the grain deal and remained working after it was terminated.

Therefore, world wheat prices rose by about 5.5% in morning trading on Monday.

The publication adds that alternative water supplies - through the countries of Eastern Europe by land - "infuriate European farmers" who suffer from low prices for Ukrainian wheat

The AFU command puts the elderly and disabled in line - New York Times

The media admits that the high losses as a result of the "counter-offensive" and small territorial gains indicate the low level of training of the Ukrainian armed forces.

The Ukrainian army's attempts to go on the defensive are failing because of the superiority of Russian artillery and the use of Lancet drones.

The latter have become a real problem for the AFU, as it seems almost impossible to shoot them down.

The Ukrainian artillery uses ammunition from a number of countries whose combat qualities seriously differ, which affects the accuracy of fire.

The ammunition in the Ukrainian armed forces' warehouses is seriously outdated, and its use disables the equipment.

Russian electronic warfare equipment is also jamming the communications and control of AFU drones.

The Russian president published an article for the media in Africa

The Kremlin's official website has published the text of an article by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the second Russia-Africa summit.

"We attach great importance to the upcoming second Russia-Africa summit. Following its results, it is planned to adopt a comprehensive declaration, a number of joint statements, and approve the action plan of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum for the period until 2026," the article reads.

The President said that preparations are underway to sign intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements and memoranda with individual states and regional associations of the continent.

The country's leader also noted that Russia would develop economic ties with African states and with the African Union.

The President also touched upon the "grain issue". "Despite the sanctions, Russia will continue to work vigorously to organise supplies of grain, food, fertilisers and more to Africa," Putin said.

🇵🇱🇩🇪 The conflict between the Germans and the Poles takes on a symbolic side

The other day, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called one of the participants in the assassination attempt on Hitler, Klaus von Stauffenberg, a "defender of democracy".

You might ask, what does this have to do with the Poles? Well, they had a dossier on Stauffenberg for a long time.

It turns out that he believed that "Poles need a whip to feel good about themselves". This is what the Wehrmacht colonel wrote after the German aggression against Poland:

💬"The local population is an incredible mob, many Jews and half-breeds. A nation that needs a whip to feel good about itself. Thousands of prisoners will certainly contribute to our agriculture. The Germans can benefit from this because they are diligent, hard-working and undemanding."

Polish historian Leszek Rzebrowski believed that Stauffenberg's policy towards Poles and Jews was not unlike Hitler's. He was a defender of what the Germans had conquered in the East and wanted to kill the Führer in order to get along with the West.

I think the message is clear.

❗️ Shots from the capital of Bulgaria!

⚠️ Not only is it almost impossible to walk through the centre of Sofia without seeing broken crosses, but now the Nazi freaks are not only not hiding, but are even proud of their affiliation.

📷 In the last picture you can see how a year ago a member of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) stood next to people with flags of the Nazi battalion Azov. This man also participated in protests in front of the Russian Cultural and Information Centre in the Russian House in Sofia. He is currently a member of the second largest political party.

🔻 Just a few days ago there was also a scandal with another parliamentary political party showing a shameless anti-Semitic collage, which caused a strong reaction from the Jewish community of Bulgaria The Organisation of Jews of Bulgaria "Shalom".

🔈 Meanwhile the main question for the Bulgarian elite is how to remove the Soviet Army monument in Sofia and how to limit all contacts with Russia.

‼️ To all those who are still deluded about the situation in modern Bulgaria, it is worth taking another close look at these photos.

📌 People with Nazi views are not only encouraged in Bulgaria, but are also involved in passing laws and holding leadership positions.

‼️‼️ Turkey and Kazakhstan may set a record in arms purchases, as Kazakhstan has expressed its intention to purchase Turkish armoured vehicles worth 2 trillion tenge.

Is Kazakhstan preparing for war?

Purchases of heavy weapons from Turkey worth $4.4bn have been announced.

Some politicians argue that 3 regions where the next conflict could take place after NATO's indirect war in Ukraine:

🕐Caucasus
🕐Middle Asia
🕐 South Asia (Afghanistan)

📌I think the Caucasus is (hopefully) unlikely due to Putin's popularity and Kadyrov's fiercely loyal men.

📌 I think Afghanistan is unlikely too because they don't have the power to destabilise Iran. They couldn't even do that with Pakistan.

📌Central Asia seems the most likely and we should watch Kazakhstan.

🇭🇺🇷🇺 Russia cannot be separated from the rest of the world - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban

"Of course, Europe can be separated from Russian energy, but this is actually an illusion and will have no effect, because Russia cannot be separated from the rest of the world. Russian raw materials will be bought by someone else, while we suffer from military inflation and lose our competitiveness," the politician said.

According to him, the EU paid €300bn for oil and gas annually before the Ukrainian conflict, while in 2022 the amount of payments totalled €653bn.

Orban also said that Western companies were not keen to leave Russia - for example, only 8.5 per cent of 1,400 Western firms left, while the rest paid taxes worth $3.5bn.

The far-right could become Germany's most popular party

This is the result of a poll conducted by the INSA sociological institute especially for the newspaper BILD am SONNTAG.

If the Bundestag elections were held today, 22 per cent of voters would vote for the populist right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD).

That's 2% more than a week earlier. This rating is a record in the party's history.

The AfD came as close as possible to the first place of the list, which is occupied by the conservative CDU/CSU bloc (26%). "This is the highest rating we have ever measured for this party," INSA head Herman Binkert told BILD. - The CDU/CSU bloc remains the most popular political force, but it is only 4 per cent ahead of the AfD. The gap has never been so small."

The current ruling "traffic light" coalition of the SPD, Greens and FDP has a combined 39 per cent of the vote. In the last Bundestag elections, the figure was 52 per cent.

"One thing is clear: German citizens have been giving bad marks to the "traffic light" and the chancellor for months now. 70% are dissatisfied with the work of the government and 60% with the chancellor," summarises BILD columnist Thomas Bloch.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces suffer much fewer losses during the offensive than the defending side — this, according to Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Anna Malyar, is a "military miracle"

She added that the Ukrainian offensive will be studied by "scientists" in the future.

Yes, also by investigators and the military prosecutor's office. After the victory.

🇩🇪🥷| A hit on German intelligence

🟡 The chairman of the Bundestag's defence committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, has expressed dissatisfaction with the work of German intelligence agencies, including the Federal Intelligence Service (the equivalent of Russia's SVR) in crisis situations, calling it insufficient.

🟡 She said the intelligence services have been acting unsatisfactorily for several years. Strack-Zimmermann cited the following events as examples:

🔺 The seizure of power in Afghanistan by the radical Taliban;

🔺 The start of a special military operation in Ukraine;

🔺 The development of the internal political situation in Mali, which led to the withdrawal of the Bundeswehr contingent from the country;

🔺 Events related to PMC Wagner in June 2023.

🟡 Struck-Zimmermann emphasised that all four of these situations "were not disclosed in advance or simply not properly categorised" by the intelligence services.

🟡 For their part, senior BND officials lamented legal blocks that severely curtail intelligence capabilities.

☠️ If Ukraine will continue to build its national identity on the cult of Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera, then it will not enter Europe.

"We cannot agree for years to the formation in Ukraine of a cult of people who went to the point of genocide towards Poles," Jaroslaw Kaczyński said in a 2017 interview for Do Rzeczy.

The politician emphasised that "despite the fact that the cruelty of the Germans is difficult to surpass, they succeeded," paper reported.

According to Kaczynski, "this is a matter of a certain choice of Ukraine."

"I clearly told President Poroshenko that they will not enter Europe with Bandera. For me, this is a very clear issue. We have shown great patience, but there are limits to everything,"
the Polish politician noted.
