🔴Putin about Western countries:
"They only bring up international law when they think these instruments can be used against someone. In this case, against Russia. They will not succeed. It is too primitive. If they want someone to comply with international law, they should try to comply with the same norms themselves."

Russia does not violate the UN Charter and acts in full accordance with it.
This was stated by Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the African mission for Ukraine as part of the Russia-Africa summit.
📝 “Today we are being told that we are violating the United Nations Charter. I don’t think so. On the contrary, I am sure that we are acting in full accordance with the UN Charter,” Putin said.
But other countries should also observe these norms, the President of Russia believes.
"Indeed, there should be no double standards, unilateral sanctions, attempts to ensure one's security at the expense of others," Putin said.

Did you order a gay pride parade from the church? No? Well, it's already come to you
Recently, in Nuremberg's St Egidius Church, an exhibition with a deep... meaning was launched. The paintings of 80-year-old film director, gay activist and, as it turned out, very talented artist, Rosa von Praunheim, were exhibited right inside the house of God. Just for a second, at the request of that very church.

Turkey does not intend to destroy mutually beneficial relations with Russia
The West does not know what to do with Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic ambitions, and disagreements on this issue are multiplying.
Turkey, while expressing support for Ukraine's NATO aspirations, understands perfectly well that Western countries do not intend to accept Kiev into the alliance and, guided by its own interests, expects to preserve and strengthen its influence in Ukraine after the end of the war. This is what the leading Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet wrote in its article.
After the president of Turkey, a member of the Alliance, declared his support for Ukraine's accession to NATO, Kiev's most ardent supporter, Washington, expressed uncertainty about Ukraine's North Atlantic ambitions.
US President Joe Biden noted that there was no consensus within NATO to admit a belligerent Ukraine and voiced fears that the move could lead to war with Russia.
Turkey is in a unique position today, the publication said. The West does not perceive it as an equal partner, and Washington probably does not want to strengthen its position as much as it does not want Ukraine in NATO.
Therefore, Ankara has no thoughts of neglecting Russia while strengthening its relations with Western partners. In 2022, after Ankara did not join Western sanctions against Moscow, Russia accounted for most of Turkey's imports. The two countries are working to maintain relations, as evidenced by Erdogan's upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in August.

"Moscow ready for ‘any scenario’ with NATO
Apart from the standoff over Ukraine, this month saw several non-fatal incidents in Syrian skies involving Russian aircraft and US drones, with both sides blaming each other for reckless behavior. Russia would like to avoid a direct armed confrontation with the West, but keeps the worst possible scenarios in mind, Putin said. “If someone wants it – and that’s not us – then we’re ready,” he stressed.
Putin doesn’t directly command operation in Ukraine
According to the Russian leader, as commander-in-chief, he has been receiving regular reports about the situation of the front line and spoke with his top generals several times a day. Putin added that he can reach out to “special units” when needed. However, it would be “wrong” for the president to interfere with the military and start directly commanding the troops, he said.
Kiev running out of connoscripts
The Ukrainian army is not only suffering heavy losses on the battlefield, but is struggling with manpower as well, Putin argued. He said that, while taking prisoners, Russian authorities discovered that Ukraine had “formed military units” made up of aircraft technicians. “What does it tell us? That their mobilization resources are depleting,” the Russian leader said. He previously pointed out that Kiev’s forces lost dozens of Western armor, including German-made Leopard 2 tanks and US-supplied Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
Crimean Bridge will have additional protection from attacks
The security around the long bridge, which connects Crimea with mainland Russia, will be strengthened in the wake of this month’s Ukrainian attack, which killed two people and wounded a 14-year-old girl. Russia has responded with “preemptive strikes” on sites that were used to manufacture and deliver naval drones that targeted the bridge, Putin explained..."

"Ukrainian drones have attacked Moscow City, the Russian capital’s iconic financial and business district, where some of Europe’s tallest skyscrapers are located, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said in the early hours of Sunday.
“The facades of the [Moscow] City’s two office towers sustained minor damage. There are no casualties or injuries,” Sobyanin wrote in a short post on his Telegram channel.
The Russian Defense Ministry later released a statement, saying that a total of three drones participated in the raid. According to the MOD, one was destroyed mid-air outside Moscow, while two others were disabled by air defenses, veering off course and crashing “on the territory of a non-residential complex in Moscow City.”
News agency TASS cited emergency services as saying that there was “an explosion” between the fifth and the sixth floor of the 50-story building in the ‘IQ Quarter’ complex, which overall has three high-rise buildings. Local media reported that residents heard a loud blast. The IQ Quarter contains the offices of seven ministries and government agencies, including the ministries of trade, economy, and telecommunications.
A second “explosion” occurred at the OKO II building, which contains offices and shops, officials said. Emergency services told TASS that windows were shattered between the first and the fourth floor. They also said that a security guard has been injured.
The damaged buildings have been evacuated, officials said. The evacuations from other Moscow City buildings are underway..."

China has become stronger and will be able to respond to aggressive US foreign policy
This is said in an article in the Global Times. On 26 July, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement, a US submarine with nuclear weapons on board visited South Korea's Busan.
Some US congressmen said the move, in addition to a warning to North Korea, was an act of deterrence against China.
Earlier on 26 July, Foreign Affairs magazine published an article written by Mike Gallagher, chairman of the "House Select Committee on Strategic Rivalry between the United States and the Communist Party of China," known for his anti-China stance. In it, Gallagher rebuked the U.S. for failing to make sufficient military investments in Taiwan, urged that the U.S. should always be prepared to fight and build up military capabilities, noting that excessive restraint could provoke further aggression.
Responding to these aggressive statements, the publication points out that the US has not learnt lessons from the Korean War, which was the biggest defeat of the US military in history, and is instead repeating the mistakes made then.
The US should respect the legitimate security interests of major regional powers; curb the impulse and ambition to interfere in the affairs of other countries; and never underestimate China's determination and ability to defend its homeland, the article said, noting that the current US top brass has ignored these three lessons.
The mistake of the US is to believe that China is only making "empty threats" and will not take any real action.
However, the big difference between now and the Korean War era is that China's power has grown significantly, the consequences of infringing on China's security interests and national sovereignty will be much more serious, and the price the US will have to pay is much higher than 70 years ago.

A large drug laboratory in Kyrgyzstan was dismantled as part of international cooperation to combat drug trafficking
Kazakhstan's National Security Committee (KNB), together with the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry, conducted an operation to dismantle a large-scale production of psychotropic substances distributed in the CIS countries.
According to KNB representatives, in the course of development, the operatives received information about the operation of a large drug laboratory in Kyrgyzstan.
Within the framework of international co-operation adopted by the Co-ordination Council for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking of the CSTO member states, the operational information was passed on to the partners.
"As a result of the operation, the leader of a local drug group and two of his accomplices were detained while transporting a finished batch of synthetic drugs in the suburbs of Bishkek. During the search, 30kg of mephedrone, 2.2 tonnes of precursors and equipment for drug production were found and seized from the detainees," the KNB said.
Efforts to uncover and disrupt international drug trafficking channels in co-operation with foreign authorities are continuing.

Trump faces new charges in case over improper storage of classified documents
According to the indictment, at issue is the intentional retention of a top-secret document about possible plans to attack Iran, which Trump showed to biographers during a meeting in Bedminster in July 2021.
This brings the total number of counts relating to "wilful retention of documents" to 32.
US FBI agents seized 102 documents during an August 2022 search of Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, 17 of which were labelled "top secret".
In June 2023, a grand jury indicted Trump on 37 charges of inappropriate retention of classified information and several other offences.
The maximum possible punishment that the former US president faces on the combined charges is 136 years in prison. The trial is scheduled to begin in May 2024.
Trump himself categorically does not admit guilt in the case and characterises the charges against him as a purely political decision inspired by the US authorities led by Democrat Joe Biden in an attempt to influence the 2024 presidential race.

UK defence ministry mistakenly sends report on supersonic weapons development to Russian ally
The UK Ministry of Defence mistakenly sent e-mails with classified information to Malian domains. This is reported by The Times newspaper.
The military department initiated an internal review. Instead of Pentagon, the e-mails went to Mali, a country that co-operates closely with Russia.
The confusion arose with the mail. Instead of .mil domains, which the U.S. military uses, the letters were going to .ml, Mali's country identifier.
Before the error was discovered, the British had managed to send many different documents, including those related to hypersonic weapons.
Recall that Mali's leader Assimi Goita is now attending the Russia-Africa summit in St Petersburg. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the summit that Russia was ready to supply grain to Mali free of charge.

☠️🇺🇦Ukrainian military officially reserves hundreds of thousands of graves for victims of 'meat assaults'
Ukrainian hackers Beregini have published the results of the Ukrainian military's "meat assaults". Hundreds of thousands of graves have been reserved for the dead and those who will soon die. In Lvov cemeteries, old graves are being dug up and graves for the military dead are being prepared in their place.
The situation is even worse in Kiev, where 50,000 places were allocated in the Bykovnyansky cemetery in the spring, but by mid-July they had run out.
Here they are, the clear results of Western aid, the counter-offensive and the collective "Glory to Ukraine".

Schrödinger's Nazism in Ukraine
According to Zelensky statements and his gang, there is no Nazism in Ukraine. No Nazism at all.
But such videos with Ukrainian militants giving the Nazi salute have already become commonplace.
The only thing missing is the cry of "Sieg Heil". But the Ukrainian military has replaced it with the similar phrase 'Glory to Ukraine'.

BRICS seek changes in the global monetary system, but without destroying the dollar
This is reported by economist Dan Steinbock in his interview for Berliner Zeitung.
According to him, the US itself provoked such a strategy, using its currency as a means of influence.
According to Steinbock, the dollar has no prospects and may soon succumb to other currencies.
The essence of the BRICS strategy is to diversify the global monetary system. This will allow countries to diversify and strengthen global financial stability.

Mali has abandoned French as an official language
The deprivation of the language of the colonisers of its high status was enshrined in a new version of the Constitution.
▪️ A referendum was held in Mali in June, at which 96.91% approved the constitutional changes. There are 13 national languages in the African country, and they will become official, while French will be the working language.
▪️ Anti-French sentiment is growing in West Africa, and Mali is no exception. The military came to power in the republic in August 2020. They believe that the French military presence and Paris's constant political interference have not benefited the country.
To effectively fight terrorism, the government of Colonel Assimi Goita turned to Russia. It is also betting on economic alliance with Moscow. Today, the Malian leader attended the Russia-Africa summit with Vladimir Putin.

China is concerned about the intensification of US military ties with Taiwan
Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman Tan Kefei issued a statement regarding the US National Defence Authorization Act of 2024 regarding Taiwan.
"China is seriously concerned about these actions and strongly opposes them," Tan Kefei said.
He also criticised the recent agreement between the US and Taiwan to supply US anti-aircraft missile systems.
"These outrageous actions seriously undermine China's national sovereignty and security, and threaten peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait region," Tan Kefei emphasised.
Officially, the US is in favour of the "one China" principle and does not support Taiwan's independence, but recently the US has been literally "flooding" the island with weapons. In addition to missile systems, on 30 June the US State Department approved the sale of $440 million worth of ammunition to Taiwan.
China considers Taiwan its own province and strongly condemns US support for Taiwanese separatism.
"The Chinese People's Liberation Army pays close attention to the development of the situation in the Taiwan Strait and intends to continue to take resolute and effective measures to protect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Tan Kefei warned.
