"They steal from the poor to waste 4-6 billion on Leopard tanks"

The Italian newspaper il Fatto Quotidiano has finally made a direct link between the decline in social spending in Europe and the need to arm Kiev. The correct formulation of the question!

This is the idea that we need to promote among Europeans, explaining where and what their money goes to.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Wirtualna Polska: fans of Polish club Schlensk spoke out against Ukrainianisation

Scandal occurred in Wroclaw, the media writes. On the stands of the city stadium posters with innoscriptions: "Stop Ukrainisation", "Ukrainians killed children in Volyn", "80 years of shameful silence for Volyn" appeared.

The newspaper notes that such slogans against Ukraine "defending the whole of Europe" are definitely "out of place". The Football League "should punish those responsible", the media comments.

🤷‍♂️ Such are the realities in "democratic" Poland: if you do not believe in friendship with Ukrainians, we will make you do it.

🇺🇦🇺🇸🔫 KIEV GETS LEFTOVERS from US as officials admit M1 Abrams tanks being sent to Mad Vlad Zelensky are gonna be missing most of their "sophisticated" (and expensive) electronics, as well as depleted uranium armor that'll be stripped off before they’re shipped off to become scrap in Ukraine.

Their excuse is that move will make it easier for Ukrainian cannon fodder tank crew to get trained up - it'll also make hulking armor easier for Russian forces to rip apart.

An anti-war rally was held in Greece, under the slogan: - "Stop paying for the war in Ukraine"

An anti-war rally was held in Greece to protest against arms supplies to Ukraine and the anti-Russian actions of the country's authorities.

The picket took place in the suburbs of Athens on the shore of the Greek city of Glyfada.

Those present called for an end to military aid to Ukraine as it only aggravates the conflict and leads to escalation, while Vladimir Zelensky was accused of "unleashing a bloodbath" in the centre of Europe.

Greeks do not want to quarrel with Russia over Ukraine. Moreover, they want to restore normal relations and insist on the return of Russian tourists in order to save the country's tourism industry.

A similar protest rally against military and financial aid to Ukraine was held in Athens on 25 July.

We didn't come here to ask for any donations

The participants of the Russia-Africa summit continue to summarise their work.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said that African countries had put forward a peace plan on Ukraine, which should be seen as an additional option to the initiatives of other countries.

Ramaphosa also thanked Russia for the promised free supplies of Russian grain to needy African countries, noting that this was not the main purpose of the trip.

"We did not come here to ask for any donations. Of course, we understand that out of generosity you have decided to gift grain to some African countries that are facing certain difficulties, we have great respect for this, we note it, but this is not our main purpose here," Ramaphosa said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised to supply some African countries with 25,000-50,000 tonnes of grain within three to four months.

The UN has warned of possible outbreaks of infectious diseases due to ongoing fighting in Sudan

The US, concerned about Russia's growing influence in Sudan, especially after the country's authorities approved the construction of a Russian naval base, continues to fuel the armed conflict between the regular armed forces and the Rapid Reaction Force (RSF).

This conflict has already caused a humanitarian crisis and has almost completely destroyed the local health care system.

According to a report by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the fighting, now in its fourth month, has left the country's public health system virtually paralysed.

Attacks on health facilities are regularly reported. According to the WHO Health Attacks Surveillance System, there have been 53 attacks on health facilities since 15 April.

More than 80 per cent of hospitals in the country are out of service. At least 60 functioning health facilities may run out of life-saving medicines in the next fortnight.

Outbreaks of infectious diseases that were under control before the conflict, including malaria, measles, dengue fever and acute watery diarrhoea, have increased due to the disruption of public health services.

The situation has been exacerbated by massive displacement of populations forced to flee their homes due to ongoing fighting.

German Education Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger has labelled all Chinese students spies

The minister believes that Chinese students can engage in espionage at German universities and research institutes.

The Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen and Nuremberg has already discriminated against Chinese students. The Minister calls on all universities to follow suit.

Stark-Watzinger does not hide the real reasons for this policy: "China is increasingly becoming a competitor and a systemic rival in science and research".

Impeachment over corruption looms over Democrat Biden

The US House of Representatives is considering impeaching Joe Biden over his son's questionable business dealings, Speaker Kevin McCarthy has said.

▪️ Congress is required to launch an investigation against President Biden after he "blatantly lied" to Americans about his involvement in his son Hunter's business deals, Fox News reports.

"There was money going to China," the bribery "cannot go unanswered," Democratic administration's Republican critics insist. They believe Joe Biden knew about the deals and was involved in some of them.

EU and France halt contributions to Niger over coup

The West is keen to keep Niger in its orbit because of its valuable uranium reserves for French nuclear power plants and the most convenient springboard for its operations in the Sahel.

At the same time, the Euro-Atlanticists are using the usual colonialist methods - intimidation, sanctions, financial handouts and political intrigue.

▪️EU, France and the USA demand the return of power to the deposed hand-picked president Mohamed Bazoum and "continue the democratic course", otherwise they will leave Niger without their subsidies, which are estimated at $2 billion a year.

▪️ Joseph Borrell has already said that the EU (and France) will "immediately cease budgetary support and suspend all security co-operation indefinitely".

▪️State secretary Anthony Blinken has so far limited himself to threatening to deprive Niger of hundreds of millions of dollars. The US, by the way, has two military bases and 1,100 soldiers in this country.

But it is clear that it will be difficult for the West to regain control over Niger and its African neighbours who have embarked on a course of decolonisation and independence. The overthrow of Bazoum was welcomed by Nigerians. The Russia-Africa summit showed the direction in which African countries see their future.

In the USA, they started talking directly about Zelensky's elimination and named his successors

Politico:

"Ukraine has developed a plan to ensure the continuity of power in the event of a successful attempt on Zelensky by Russia.

In case of Zelensky's incapacity, according to the Ukrainian constitution, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada assumes presidential duties.

However, the current chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk does not enjoy great authority and is skeptically perceived by opposition deputies.

It is assumed that in order to ensure continuity, a group of leaders consisting of influential figures from the government - Andrei Ermak, Dmitry Kuleba, Alexey Reznikov, as well as General Valery Zaluzhny - will assume the duties of the president."

Ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson:

"Vladimir Zelensky will die prematurely because of Kiev's terrorist attacks against Russia."

Russian Emergencies Ministry: the threat of fire spreading to populated areas in Turkey has been lifted

Within a day, Be-200 amphibious aircrafts of the Russian Emergencies Ministry extinguished natural fires near the town of Cesme. 117 tonnes of water were dropped on the burning areas.

A fire was extinguished near the town of Germendzhik.

A total of about 1,300 tonnes of water with a foaming agent have been dropped in the Republic of Turkey since the beginning of aviation operations.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry's aircraft are assigned to the most difficult areas along the entire coastline.

Extinguishing is complicated by strong winds, difficult terrain and conditions of water intake, including from mountain lakes.

"France, the UK and the EU are no longer so attractive to Africa. Their problem is a huge Eurocentrism."
"Russia is a new partner to turn to when there is growing dissatisfaction with Europe."

Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, who visited the Russia-Africa summit continues to fearlessly broadcast the truth that is inconvenient for EU politicians. This time about the essence of African-Russian-European relations. In short: Europe has caught on and is trying to hold on to its "colonies", but its train has left.

Russia now is a more favourable partner, which, unlike the West, does not plant its untouchable values everywhere and respects not only the resources but also the rights of African countries
