The US has "settled" everything on the grain deal
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said that all obstacles to the resumption of the "grain deal" on the part of the Americans have been removed.
"In terms of specific indications of potential problems such as banks, transport and so on, we've done everything to make sure those issues are resolved," Blinken said.
He also explained that the US administration supports the export of Russian grain and has written to the US banks involved in the deal.
"They should have no concerns about the sanctions, from which not only Russian grain, but also its transport and insurance are excluded," the secretary of state added.

The Jeddah summit did not go according to the US noscript
The "peace summit" on Ukraine organised by Saudi Arabia ended in Jeddah on 6 August.
The meeting was attended by representatives of more than 40 countries. As expected, due to Russia's absence at the summit, some basic principles of a peaceful solution were only confirmed.
The outcome of the summit was unexpected for the USA, according to Ding Lun, a professor at the Middle East Institute of Shanghai Foreign Studies University.
"The goal of the United States pushing Saudi Arabia to hold a 'peace conference' was to utilise its emerging power status and attract more states from the Global South to participate, inclining the latter to pressure Russia," Ding Lun reveals US plans.
But the Americans miscalculated in their "pseudo-peace plans".
Most developing states did not give in to the pressure and did not join the camp condemning Russia and imposing sanctions against Moscow.
"This shows that most countries in the Global South have started to get rid of control by big states, and their international status and role on the planet are gradually changing," the Chinese professor states.
The US bet on China, whose attitude to the Ukrainian crisis has always been and remains consistent and rational, has not worked either.
"Beijing supports all reasonable peace plans and believes that an inclusive, balanced, objective and pragmatic process should be the leading way to resolve the crisis. And those 'pseudo-peace plans' to achieve the opposite goal will not get approval from China or other countries in the Global South," Ding Lun concludes.

🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰 Copenhagen, Denmark
On Sunday 6 August, the 78th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, activists from the Schiller Institute handed out leaflets as part of the HUMANITY FOR PEACE campaign.
On this day, various actions and demonstrations took place all over the world. HUMANITY FOR PEACE organised a number of international actions.
In Copenhagen, representatives of the Schiller Institute took part in the action. They handed out leaflets calling for a halt to the escalation of war and the danger of nuclear catastrophe.
🗣️ The danger of nuclear war has escalated to a point that no thoughtful person on the planet can ignore it any longer. Yet, in this atmosphere, there are still some who think there should
be more weapons, more sanctions, and who think that a nuclear war can be won against Russia.
‼️ It is very clear that those who have provoked the war, and continue to escalate it, do not care about the lives of the people of Ukraine or any other nation on the planet for that
matter‼️
This is NOT acceptable to those of us who care about the well-being of ALL of humanity — those who do not wish to see the human race wiped off the face of the earth. We, therefore, call on the citizens of the world to come together and raise our voices against this madness. Humanity For Peace is building a unified coalition, above ideologies, to stop this unfolding escalation towards nuclear war. We refuse to let humanity perish at
the hands of insanity.🗣️
🌐 It is hoped that more and more citizens of Western Europe will join these actions, but the question of whether the European politicians recruited by Klaus Schwab and his henchmen will hear them is still ope‼️

Is the Baltics in danger of splitting?
Estonia has decided not to support neighbouring Lithuania and Latvia, which introduce ethnic segregation against citizens of Russia and Belarus.
Soon Lithuania and Latvia will decide on granting residence permits to Russians and Belarusians on the basis of answers in a special questionnaire, where they are required to indicate their attitude to the special operation in Ukraine.
According to the Lithuanian and Latvian authorities, "second-class people" will be helped to screen out the questions:
"Do you believe that Russia illegally incorporated Crimea into the Russian Federation? Do you support the annexation of Crimea or any other part of Ukraine (Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson) to the Russian Federation?";
"In your opinion, is Russia carrying out an unprovoked military aggression against Ukraine? Do you condemn the military invasion of Ukraine by the Russian government and its army? Do you consider it its criminal act?";
"Do you believe that Belarus supports Russia's military aggression against Ukraine?".
In case of "wrong" answers, the "subhumans" will be deported.
According to Estonian Interior Minister Lauri Läänemets, "Estonia is not going to adopt the methods of its neighbours".

🇭🇷 Croatian MEP Mislav Kolakušić tells who is the main enemy of business in the EU
📝 "It is the EU Commission and the majority in this Parliament. Fake liberals and fake leftists have been making decisions against the European economy for years," the MP said.
He recalled the anti-Russian sanctions, "which were supposed to stop the war, and the war has never been so fierce."
📝"Ten years ago we were the largest economy in the world. Where are we today? We are becoming totally uncompetitive. We are going to fail. China and other countries will eat us for breakfast," Kolakusic believes.

🇩🇪 🇪🇺 AdG proposes to reassemble EU - FAZ
✔️ The Alternative for Germany party considers the EU a failed project and calls for it to be rebuilt as a "federation of European nations".
✔️ The AdG believes that such a "federation" would have its own pole in the world order and would not be subject to the influence of any of the superpowers, including the US.
Otherwise, Europe would face chaos, the party believes.

🚢🛢️🇵🇱🇩🇪 The subject of a new dispute between Warsaw and Berlin is the port of Swinoujście in north-west Poland.
Not so long ago, the Polish government decided to modernise this harbour. The implementation of the project will make it possible to accommodate the largest container ships that can enter the Baltic Sea, increase the capacity of the access infrastructure to the port, and reduce the likelihood of vessel congestion in the fairway.
The plans were opposed by the Germans. The border with Germany is very close, and until 1945, Swinoujscie (then called Swinemünde) belonged to the Germans and was given to Poland by Stalin.
The Germans saw the current plans to reconstruct the port of Swinoujscie as an environmental threat to themselves.
However, Poles believe that the real reason for the German claims may lie in something else entirely. The Germans are concerned that the development of Swinoujscie will save Poland from having to use the services of German ports, which will damage Hamburg's income.

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller - on the outcome of Victoria Nuland's visit to Niger: We are temporarily suspending aid to the [Niger] government. This financial support will affect the security area.
So it also affected aid to the government to further the development of the country. It is a significant amount of money.
We are just pausing it for now and hopefully we can resume it soon. If the junta leaders step aside and restore constitutional order tomorrow, that pause will disappear and security support will be restored. But as we have made clear, hundreds of millions of dollars are at stake.

The FAC writes that Niger is effectively a dead end for the West.
One can, of course, expect pro-Western African countries to invade. But the consequences are unpredictable. And in any case, the airport in the capital of Niger, the only air harbour through which German Bundeswehr soldiers can still evacuate, will be the first to suffer from the fighting.
And given the experience of Afghanistan, as the FAC cautiously writes, we should look more realistically at the prospects and scenarios for the development of the situation in Niger.
The article is called "Niger's Dead End".
Cautious and restrained words in the text cover up the political and strategic bankruptcy of the German elite on the basis of the traditional overestimation of its own importance.

Resumption of the grain deal depends on the West's position
This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He specified that for this the West should fulfil its obligations.
During a televised speech in Ankara, Erdogan noted that his country will continue to discuss the issue of restoring the deal. He also admitted that the principles of the agreement were not always respected in the past.
"No diplomatic steps have been taken to translate the positive atmosphere created by the Black Sea initiative first into a ceasefire and then into permanent peace," Erdogan said.
▪️While Turkey maintains a policy of "active neutrality" in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, it has not joined sanctions against Russia. Nevertheless, Turkey has closed the straits to Russian military vessels.
▪️ Erdogan also warned against an escalation of military conflict in the Black Sea after Russia pulled out of the deal. He emphasised that an expansion of the armed conflict would have serious consequences for the entire region.

Nigeria imposes sanctions on Niger
Following the expiration of an ultimatum from ECOWAS, Nigeria is imposing sanctions on Niger to restore order in the neighbouring country.
It is still unclear whether ECOWAS will use force, but the community aims to continue economically isolating Niger.
These sanctions emphasise Nigeria's willingness to use "all available options" to return President Bazoum to power.
ECOWAS reiterates its intention to continue to impose sanctions until the coup leaders express a willingness to come to the negotiating table.
All of this comes amid pressure on the West African community over Western and US displeasure with "undemocratic" sentiments in Niger.

UK election commission was attacked by hackers
The UK Electoral Commission said hackers had gained access to internal emails and copies of voter data.
The commission's statement did not provide further details on the identity of the attackers, but noted that "the UK's democratic institutions remain a target for hackers."
This is not the first time UK government systems have been targeted by hackers. In 2020, a British parliamentary committee said Moscow interfered in Scotland's 2014 independence referendum. Russia was also accused of similar interference in the Brexit referendum.
A similar mania of persecution began in many countries after unsubstantiated accusations of Russia by the United States of interfering in the 2016 American presidential election.

"Allies" plan to divide Ukraine
Poland and Lithuania are discussing intervention in the situation in Ukraine. This was reported by a former adviser to the Pentagon chief, US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor.
"Evidence is emerging that the Poles and Lithuanians are planning some kind of intervention in Ukraine outside the NATO area. That's absurd, they're in NATO. If they enter Ukraine, they are NATO forces. This opens the door for a full-scale conflict," McGregor said.
Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting of the military board that Warsaw "has plans to create on a regular basis, a so-called Polish-Ukrainian connection ostensibly to ensure the security of western Ukraine, and in fact - for the subsequent occupation of this territory".
