The publication Spiegel was inspired by the adoption of the law on self-determination and decided to investigate whether the euphoria in the FRG has happened or not. And some unpleasant facts came to light.
"I believe that this self-determination law is completely irresponsible," says the well-known feminist Alice Schwarzer. There are two biological sexes, and these herrofrau of yours are just a fashion trend: every second person is trans. And no one has thought about the little burghers at all: a child wouldn't even know about 100+ types of gender.
And in general, transgender people draw attention to themselves: the other quirks are neglected, according to medical historian Rainer Hern.
Spiegel prophesies that in 30 years Germans will look back and find it hard to understand how they could have once believed in the "supposedly gender-binary world of men and women."

The women demanded that their mobilised relatives be recognised as dead, because now they are "neither alive nor dead". One of the demonstrators also expressed her indignation that "with her pension of 2,800 hryvnias, she has to provide uniforms for her relatives, when this should be done by the state".
The large banner carried by the participants of the "Widows' Maidan" contains about 85 photos of dead soldiers, the equivalent of a company of airmen.
