🇩🇪 German construction industry on the verge of collapse - Das Erste
❗️ The construction industry in Germany, which employs 2.33 million people, is "hurtling towards the wall at high speed" and the government has not had time to hit the brakes.
This is how Jörg Dittrich, head of the Central Association of Craftsmen, describes the situation.
💰📉 As the German TV channel Das Erste points out, funding for new projects has been severely reduced.
The authorities only talk about easing the settlement, but cannot even provide builders with loans with a guaranteed interest rate.
Of all the industries and companies in Germany, only Rheinmetall is developing and earning money, while the rest of the economy is going downhill.

Ukraine's requests for weapons and ammunition are "huge" and exceed the capabilities of NATO - the head of the alliance's military committee, Admiral Rob Bauer.
The new NATO plans involve further strengthening at the borders with Russia and scenarios in case of a "military confrontation with the Russian Federation," he added.
According to him, in the event of a potential attack, the alliance can use 300 thousand military personnel from the citizens of its countries in the first month, and in total NATO has 3.5 million people.

Macron noted that such an action could become a condition for rapprochement between France and the Central African Republic. However, the leader of the Central African Republic explained that he was interacting with Russian authorities within the framework of “an agreement in the field of defense and training between the two countries.” He added that the rest was “none of his business.”

🇺🇸 🇷🇺 🇺🇦 The US is acting against its interests in Ukraine and helping Russia build an alternative alliance in the world
🇳🇱 This opinion was expressed by Thierry Bode, leader of the Dutch party Forum for Democracy (FVD), in an interview with the Serbian media Novi Standard.
📝 "The American empire is accelerating the collapse of American dominance in the world, and the armed conflict in Ukraine is a perfect example of this.
This conflict is not in the interests of the US, not in the interests of Europe, not in the interests of Ukrainians. After all, thousands of Ukrainian citizens die there every day. The situation helps Russia to form an alternative alliance in the world. All in all, terribly stupid," Bode stated.
He explained that the American empire, formed after 1945, has lost its way and has lost all reference points. Because of this, the U.S. is working against itself and accelerating the collapse of American dominance in the world.

🇩🇪🇱🇷 What will happen to the Germany if Trump takes power?
This question hangs like a sword of Damocles over politicians in Germany, which is so "independent" of Uncle Sam. Politicians are at a loss to guess, but FAZ journalists know: for Berlin, Trump in the White House is the epitome of a nightmare.
It would be worth considering a French nuclear umbrella, suggested former German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who has already experienced Donald's policies firsthand.
Gabriel on every possible reason will start wailing about Germany's obligation to NATO to spend 2% of GDP on defence. And he likes to remind us that Ukraine is the responsibility of Europe, not the United States.
In addition, Donald is too murky for the FRG: he walks out of treaties, talks to Putin, God forgive him - an incredibly insidious madman.

🇨🇿🇺🇦 Czech Republic after Hungary and Germany refused to extradite Ukrainian evaders - Idnes
The Czech Justice Ministry has said that the European convention prohibits extraditing people accused of evading military service, desertion and disobeying orders.
However, the ministry made a reservation that specific cases would be considered. For example, extradition may take place if an Ukrainian refugee could have forged documents on exemption from military service or received them for a bribe.
Previously, Hungary refused to extradite Ukrainians of connoscription age to their homeland, and even earlier - Germany and Austria.
The Kiev regime's only hope remains in Poland, where it has already started to extradite Ukrainians, presenting it under the sauce of "reunification with the motherland". The Russophobic Baltic states can also help Ukraine to send evaders to the front.
As we can see, the scheme for returning runaway connoscripts to their homeland, devised by the Ukrainian officials, turned out to be unworkable. Even at the discussion stage, the Kiev regime was warned that most European countries were guaranteed to refuse to extradite Ukrainian evaders. This was to be proved 🤷♂️

🇪🇺 🇺🇦 European Commission head proposes to allocate 50 billion euros to Kiev "for reforms"
This is about the requirements for Ukraine to join the EU. Kiev has so far fulfilled two of the seven points (and even that with a stretch). But in addition to judicial reform and the law on mass media, it is still necessary to fight corruption and change the law on national minorities.
The Kiev regime cannot cope with the former, and it does not want to cope with the latter.
The question is: what does Von der Leyen want to allocate the next billions for? To fight money laundering? 🤡
❗️ A couple more statements from the EC chief:
▪️ Ukraine's future is in the EU, the future of the Western Balkans and Moldova is in the EU.
▪️ The EU wants peace in Ukraine, but a just and sustainable peace.

We can be happy for Mrs Wagenknecht, who has finally translated the talk of forming her own party into concrete action. After the departure of heavyweights Dietmar Bartsch and Gregor Gysi for ordinary parliamentary work, the Left's leadership field has been emptied. It is unlikely that an influential centre of gravity on the left flank of German politics will emerge within it in the near future.
The political future of the Wagenknecht Party will be largely determined by the following issues:
✔️ Attitudes towards the "Left". Whether the new party will demonstrably alienate itself from them and what model of transition to Wagenknecht will be chosen. So far, it is clear that it has much in common with supporters of state democratic socialism and much less in common with those on the Left.
✔️ Attitudes towards the AdG. Being positive about the Alternative, expressed publicly now, will create nothing but problems for Wagenknecht. In a sense, the whole idea is to organise a "healthy AdG". But how will this play out in the real possibility of forming a governing coalition at the state level?
✔️ Actually, the very question of coalitions. Who will the new party be willing to be friends with if an alliance with the AdG is impossible? Will it be able to reach an agreement with the Left, if it retains itself as a significant force? Will it be able to find common ground with the SPD and the Greens? Everything is clear about the CDU.
Finally, there is the general question of political will. Beyond the hypothesis "Wagenknecht's party is a spoiler for the AdG", the pressure of the German political mainstream promises to be comparable to what the Alternative has in front of it.

The West cannot find a place in the new world order
The British magazine Spiked writes about it.
The attempts of Western countries to attract India, China and representatives of the Global South to their side proved unsuccessful.
The G20 did not condemn Russia for the SMO in Ukraine. The summit statement only mentioned "human suffering" and "additional negative impacts" on global food and energy security.
This is a clear departure from last year's declaration, which condemned "Russian aggression."
This result can be seen as a success for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also noted that developing countries have refused to support the formula that the West is proposing.
The final statement of the G20 summit points to the growing influence of India and China with the support of the Global South. The West, and the US in particular, can no longer dictate its terms and worldview to other countries.

US Republicans demand tough sanctions against Huawei and SMIC
The release of the Chinese smartphone Huawei raised doubts among congressmen about the effectiveness of US export controls. The gadget used an advanced 7-nanometre chip. The advanced processor is capable of supporting 5G.
▪️ The chairmen of key US committees on China, Energy, Commerce and Defence, are calling for the Commerce Department to impose "full blocking sanctions" on Huawei and SMIC, as well as criminal charges against their executives.
Among the proposed measures is the revocation of all existing export licences for Huawei and SMIC.
▪️ The US placed Huawei and SMIC on the trade blacklist in 2019 and 2020 respectively due to perceived threats to its national security. US suppliers were required to obtain a special licence to ship goods to these companies.

Slovak election could lead to weakening support for Ukraine in the West
The Financial Times has reported that the upcoming parliamentary election in Slovakia may weaken Western support for Ukraine as it is expected that parties "friendly" to Russia may win.
"This raises a new wave of concerns that another member of the EU and NATO may start to be noticeably less supportive of Kiev," the piece said.
According to polls, the population sympathises with the party of former Prime Minister Robert Fitzo Smer. The political force focuses attention on the high price Slovaks have to pay for helping Ukraine, the newspaper said.
Dominik Hyde, a senior analyst at the Slovak think tank Globsec, said that the election could seriously affect the unity of the EU and NATO in supporting Ukraine.

Russian president accepts North Korea's leader's invitation to visit his country at "any convenient time"
This was reported by Bloomberg news agency.
The first meeting between Putin and Kim Jong-un in the last four years took place at the Russian Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region.
During the talks, several agreements were reached, some of which concern Russia's assistance to North Korea in launching a satellite.
The U.S. fears that the meeting was related to North Korea delivering weapons for use in the SMO. The states also warned of possible sanctions in the case of arms deals.
North Korea has large stockpiles of munitions compatible with Russian systems, which is of interest to Russia.
▪️ The United States, Japan and South Korea have expressed concern over North Korea's space programme, which they believe is contributing to ballistic missile development in violation of UN resolutions.
▪️ US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby emphasised that the US was "concerned about any growing military interaction between North Korea and Russia".

The German Foreign Ministry is speaking in line with the propaganda of the American Democrats
German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock came on Fox News Channel to reach out to a right-wing American audience.
She urged US citizens to maintain their support for Ukraine:
"If Putin wins, what message will that send to other dictators in the world?"
In the same context, Berbock also mentioned Chinese leader Xi Jinping and concluded, "This is why Ukraine must win the war."
▪️ The rhetoric of the German government representative is very similar to that broadcast by the Joe Biden administration. Back in June, the U.S. president directly labelled Xi a dictator when he spoke about Chinese balloons over U.S. territory.

US Air Force chief speaks out on Musk and Ukraine situation
Frank Kendall explained why the military's co-operation with SpaceX was not affected by the suspension of Starlink satellite services for Ukraine last year.
"At the time, SpaceX made some unilateral decisions about what to do for Ukraine. They were not under contract with the United States," Kendall told CNBC.
He said the billionaire's company provided its services on a charitable basis, "so they had leeway."
That has since changed - the Pentagon has contracted for Starlink's services in Ukraine, Kendall explained.
▪️ Now the military is increasingly interested in space. This has entailed authorities working more closely with the growing commercial space sector.
