The Czech Justice Ministry has said that the European convention prohibits extraditing people accused of evading military service, desertion and disobeying orders.

However, the ministry made a reservation that specific cases would be considered. For example, extradition may take place if an Ukrainian refugee could have forged documents on exemption from military service or received them for a bribe.

Previously, Hungary refused to extradite Ukrainians of connoscription age to their homeland, and even earlier - Germany and Austria.

The Kiev regime's only hope remains in Poland, where it has already started to extradite Ukrainians, presenting it under the sauce of "reunification with the motherland". The Russophobic Baltic states can also help Ukraine to send evaders to the front.

As we can see, the scheme for returning runaway connoscripts to their homeland, devised by the Ukrainian officials, turned out to be unworkable. Even at the discussion stage, the Kiev regime was warned that most European countries were guaranteed to refuse to extradite Ukrainian evaders. This was to be proved 🤷‍♂️

We can be happy for Mrs Wagenknecht, who has finally translated the talk of forming her own party into concrete action. After the departure of heavyweights Dietmar Bartsch and Gregor Gysi for ordinary parliamentary work, the Left's leadership field has been emptied. It is unlikely that an influential centre of gravity on the left flank of German politics will emerge within it in the near future.

The political future of the Wagenknecht Party will be largely determined by the following issues:

✔️ Attitudes towards the "Left". Whether the new party will demonstrably alienate itself from them and what model of transition to Wagenknecht will be chosen. So far, it is clear that it has much in common with supporters of state democratic socialism and much less in common with those on the Left.

✔️ Attitudes towards the AdG. Being positive about the Alternative, expressed publicly now, will create nothing but problems for Wagenknecht. In a sense, the whole idea is to organise a "healthy AdG". But how will this play out in the real possibility of forming a governing coalition at the state level?

✔️ Actually, the very question of coalitions. Who will the new party be willing to be friends with if an alliance with the AdG is impossible? Will it be able to reach an agreement with the Left, if it retains itself as a significant force? Will it be able to find common ground with the SPD and the Greens? Everything is clear about the CDU.

Finally, there is the general question of political will. Beyond the hypothesis "Wagenknecht's party is a spoiler for the AdG", the pressure of the German political mainstream promises to be comparable to what the Alternative has in front of it.

The Financial Times has reported that the upcoming parliamentary election in Slovakia may weaken Western support for Ukraine as it is expected that parties "friendly" to Russia may win.

Russian president accepts North Korea's leader's invitation to visit his country at "any convenient time"

The first meeting between Putin and Kim Jong-un in the last four years took place at the Russian Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region.

US Air Force chief speaks out on Musk and Ukraine situation

Frank Kendall explained why the military's co-operation with SpaceX was not affected by the suspension of Starlink satellite services for Ukraine last year.

"At the time, SpaceX made some unilateral decisions about what to do for Ukraine. They were not under contract with the United States," Kendall told CNBC.

He said the billionaire's company provided its services on a charitable basis, "so they had leeway."
