The first step: postpone nuclear war

Today the ZNPP is waiting for approval for the arrival of IAEA inspectors. It's important to save the plant now and to keep the environment clean. But such clarity was not so important in the beginning of the nuclear age.

During WWII all research in the fields of radioactive materials and nuclear energy were transformed into nuclear bomb designs. Nazi Germany and the USA had significant advances in this field by 1945. But Nazi Germany didn't have enough time to implement their results.

The first bomb was made in the USA. The 6th of August 1945 was the date that divided all of human history into two parts: before and after nuclear weapons. That day people realized that any town could be destroyed with just one bomb. After a few weeks people learned about radiation disease. And this date we can consider the beginning of the first nuclear crisis.

The first nuclear bombing was not a crisis in itself. However, in the spring of 1945 the UK-USSR war plan "Unthinkable" was developed in the UK. The plan "Totality" that involved the nuclear bombing of 20 Soviet cities was developed in October - December 1945. Considering these facts we can see that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just for the testing of new weapons and a demonstration of the power of the USA. It is worth also noting Truman's constant statements about the need for a nuclear strike on the Soviet Union.

In this reality the Soviet Union was forced to begin it's own nuclear programme. We should note, that this was very difficult for a country with destroyed industry and deep social problems after WWII. For example, the USSR after WWII had only 5 nuclear scientists while the USA had over 200 specialists, and received about 100 from Germany. The USSR had no nuclear industry, nor the technology, or even the sources of raw materials. But after 4 years, in 1949, the first Soviet nuclear bomb was tested. Since that time the weapons race has continued. The likelihood of nuclear war increased, especially during the Korean War of 1950-1953.

However, that time both enemies had only aircraft carried nuclear bombs. Strategic bombers had to overcome enemy air defences and travel a considerable distance before dropping their bombs. That was a complex operation. The point that postponed nuclear war in the 1950s was reached during the Korean war when Soviet and US experts realized the practical unfeasibility of aerial nuclear bombing.

In fact, the threat of the use of nuclear weapons is most strong when one party to a conflict realizes that a strike can be delivered without significant effort and without a significant counter response. The emergence of a second nuclear power has created parity in the world and forced both sides to hold back the strategic bombers.

👍I love this one! Good overview with some humour inputs. It explains a lot about the special military operation before it started, and exposes western hypocrisy and double standards.
Titled: "Truth About Ukraine/Russia NOT What You Think"

The interesting part is that the episode was released on February 24, 2022.

Russian correspondent Alexei Repin is one of the few journalists who was able to visit Zaporizhzhya NPP which is targeted by AFU fire every day.

This trip took place a few days ago, and even then you could see the broken glass in the buildings, the shell craters, and the walls riddled with shell splinters.

This is a visual representation of the destruction of history. In accordance with Western controllers, ISIS and Ukrainian nationalists are destroying the legacy of generations in the most barbaric way. They don't have a past, so they won't have a future.

Exclusive.

We continue to interview neo-fascists from Azov. And not only interview, but also show them our previous interviews with their victims, so that they understand that Azov men are terrorists and war criminals.

Maksimchuk from Azov is already beginning to understand what crimes his neo-Nazi regiments is guilty of. He already wants the Kyiv regime to “visit hell”. He is already asking them, the Azov men, on how they took away the son from its parents – his very own friend.

But the realization that Kyiv has been continuously taking away children from their parents (and with the help of the war criminals from Azov) all these past eight years will come to him later.

Russian military has set up a good tradition in the Kherson area - a call to mum from captivity. Actually, it should become common that those who have laid down their arms tell the other guys that they shouldn’t be afraid of surrendering – it’s much more frightening to die.

Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant ‘terrorist plot’ foiled

A group of Ukrainian saboteurs preparing a terrorist attack on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant were taken into custody in Energodar. The men reportedly had information about the characteristics of the plant and could have attacked the least protected part. The alleged video of the special operation shows that saboteurs used foreign satellite systems for communication and were fully armed.

“Difficult” Situation at Zaporozhye NPP “Under Control” - IAEA Chief Vows to Press On

The IAEA mission has arrived at the Vasilevka checkpoint on the way to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant after the Russian Defense Ministry stated it was still ready to guarantee the safety of investigators against what it says is repeated shelling of the Zaporizhzhia plant by the Kiev regime and fighting in nearby Energodar.

Local authorities told RIA Novosti that an attempt to seize the nuclear power plant and disrupt the inspectors’ visit by 60 Ukrainian troops was carried out under the control of the British special services; the paratroopers involved in it were trained abroad.

Director-General of the IAEA Rafael Grossi told reporters “we are not stopping”, adding, “we know there is a gray area where the last line of Ukrainian defense and the first line of the Russian occupying forces begins. I believe we have to proceed with this. We have a very important mission to accomplish."

Kiev's attempt to take over the ZNPP - how it happened (1)

By noon on 1 September, prominent Ukrainian analyst Yuri Podolyaka published his conclusions regarding the events around the Zaporizhzhya NPP. Comparing reports on the latest attacks by the AFU in the vicinity of the plant with earlier statements by the Kiev authorities, he reveals Kiev's true intentions.

So, the plan was as follows. By the time the IAEA mission would have arrived to Energodar, the AFU special forces, in cooperation with other units and under the artillery cover from the northern bank, were to take control of the territory of the plant, and that was what the IAEA mission was to record.

Kiev's attempt to take over the ZNPP - how it happened (2)

Let us start with the preceding story.
A few days ago when the IAEA announced its plans not only to visit the station but also to place permanent observers at it, it left me puzzled. It looked like a clear giving way to Russia, because a permanent mission in the area would enable eliminating the problem of shelling - however, today it turned out this was a set-up in favour of Kiev rather than Russia.

Let's move on to today's events. That night, the special forces of the AFU landed in the area of the summer houses northeast of the ZNPP and by 5 am covertly occupied the initial assault line (the RF Ministry of Defense claims that it happened later, but it is not really essential). Their task was to break into the territory of the plant and to ensure reception of the main group of troops landing later.

At 5.20 am the artillery of the AFU opened fire on the RF Armed Forces posts placed at the plant, and around 6 am the first wave of the landing troops began their attack.

At the same time the second wave - 2 barges that could carry up to a battalion of infantry reinforced with mortars (plus ammo) - left Nikopol. Taking the distance into account, the approximate time of its arrival at the ZNPP was about 7.30 am.

By this time, the vanguard unit should have dislodged the Rosgvardiya forces and stormed the plant's territory. But the defending troops withstood the first strike, and at about 7.00 am Russian aircraft or helicopters sank both barges of the second echelon, and thereafter the entire plan to capture the plant was foiled. The rest of the advanced assault group retreated to the landing point, where it was pinned down - it is being finished off there now.

Thus, we can admit that the plan was really beautiful (although it also seems to have been revealed to Russian intelligence). No less beautiful than the Russian airborne special forces landing in Gostomel. However, the plan collapsed and resulted in the loss of two platoons of the AFU and up to a battalion on the barges of the second wave. That is about 300-400 men. Without any result.

Moreover, now Kiev does not even know what to do with the IAEA mission. After all, if it reaches Energodar and fulfills the "threat" of leaving its representatives there, it completely ruins the whole game of Zelensky’s gang regarding the "ZNPP case".

P.S. By the way, it is probably also why at 8.00 am the artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the expected front crossing point of the IAEA mission.
