We are interested in two groups of events, for which the breach of the Israeli border was organized:
1. Numerous liquidations of high-ranking commanders and specialists of the Israeli defense forces;
2. The capture or penetration into Israeli command posts.
Currently, the death of 2 generals (Hamas also claims to have taken 4 captive), 5 colonels, a lieutenant colonel, and an IDF major are circulating in the media. It is noteworthy that firstly, the deceased are associated with the Israeli special forces and the military intelligence of the army, and secondly, some of them were liquidated along with their families - this suggests a possible prior infiltration of Iranian clearance commands that had already "acted" on the command staff on the morning of October 7th, thus paralyzing the coordination of the defense in the south of Israel (which probably explains the considerable disorganization of the actions of the Israeli police and army).
We also have direct reports from the IDF about the capture of the headquarters of the Gaza Division (actually the operational headquarters) and the center of the naval forces, which were held by the "militants" for many hours. In addition, a number of smaller but important facilities, such as advanced intelligence stations, were captured.
As the reader hopefully makes clear, it is simply impossible that such important facilities are captured in a very short time by irregular forces, as you may have seen in most of video recordings of Hamas. It is also no unfortunate coincidence that every few hours the name of a high-ranking IDF officer who has been eliminated drops, a number that already mysteriously exceeds the number of deceased Israeli NCOs and lieutenants (and obviously a reaction to the assassination of Iranian officers from various structures organized by the Israeli secret service last year).
If we put aside the moral and ethical aspects of the event and look at the events of the past day from the point of view of the professional confrontation between the Iranian and Israeli security authorities, Iran has demonstrated a high degree of competence. Even the hostage-taking images, which are unflattering for most of you, are actually a military cynicism with common sense - the large number of prisoners in the Gaza strip significantly limits the IDF leadership in their actions. In fact, the Iranians are provoking the IDF into a larger ground operation in the Gaza strip without adequate air and artillery support (it is also noteworthy that some of the hostages are tourists from Western countries, for whose capture Hamas used part of its paratrooper unit; in short, this was a pre-arranged action that increases the total value of the hostage fund).
Why does this matter at all? In a dense urban environment, Israeli firepower will be greatly levelled off, and the IDF will have to operate in hostile territory with a prepared infrastructure (underground communication facilities, warehouses, barracks, observation posts). Israel has already had the unpleasant experience of "not winning" under such conditions, when it invaded Lebanon in 2006, and it will be no less interesting to observe what happens now.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has said that Russia calls on Israel and Palestine to cease fire and return to the negotiating table, the current escalation is a very dangerous relapse of the long-running conflict.
"We are in contact with everyone and we are calling on them for a ceasefire and to come back to the negotiating table. How receptive are they to such appeals from us? Well, we are in favor of all issues being resolved peacefully on the basis of taking into account mutual interests," Bogdanov said.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia expresses serious concern over the sharp escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Russian oil tankers are heading to Brazil
For the first time after a two-year break, Russia is sending tankers with crude oil to Brazil. In an effort to diversify its list of buyers, Moscow shipped 84,400 tons worth $48 million to Brasil in September.
Brazil is a major oil producer and exporter, but occasionally imports crude oil for domestic refining needs. After the European Union joined the oil embargo against Moscow in February, Brazil became an active buyer of Russian "black gold".
The current deliveries are the first since August 2021, when the Latin American country purchased 42.1 thousand tons of oil for $16.6 million.

According to the WSJ, members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have been working with Hamas since early August to work out the details of an attack on Israel.
U.S. authorities said they have no evidence yet to indicate direct Iranian leadership of the attacks, but acknowledged the existence of a long-term relationship between Hamas and Iran.
Hamas spokesman Mahmoud Mirdawi said the movement planned the attack independently.

🇩🇪 In the German capital, the police are already investigating six cases of human trafficking and forced prostitution of Ukrainian refugee women.
Between February 2022 and 7 August 2023, the Land Criminal Police Office recorded 62 such cases.
One of the reasons for this is a system of reception and accommodation of refugees that is bursting at the seams and a shortage on the housing market. All this creates favourable conditions for dirty business.
The police warn about the following scheme: men 50+ look for single Ukrainian women or mothers with children and offer them accommodation, such as renting a room. And once a woman is in a dependent position, this is followed by sexual violence or forced prostitution.
