US deliberately failed to warn Israel about Hamas preparing for attacks

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that with serious intelligence, the United States could not have been unaware of Hamas's preparations for a military operation against Israel.

The diplomat also expressed the opinion that the U.S. aims to sow chaos in the region and for this reason did not warn Israel of the impending attacks.

"We are returning to the theory of controlled chaos, which is at the heart of US policy, the problem is that chaos is no longer manageable," Zakharova concluded.
