Biden's efforts to help Ukraine could lead to American discontent

The US president's attempts to draw a parallel between Israel and Ukraine and then persuade Congress to allocate an additional $106bn for their defence look ridiculous, Foreign Policy has said.

As the media notes, Joe Biden does not give Americans a convincing explanation why it is so necessary to worry about the Ukrainians or anyone else:

"He never once bothered to explain why the average American should care about Gaza or Ukraine. He said that if you don't stop Putin in Ukraine, he'll go after Poland next."

The author of the article asks the question, if a U.S. citizen doesn't care about Ukraine, why should he care about Poland?

▪️ Earlier, Biden said that the USA, being "the most powerful country in the history of the world", was allegedly capable of simultaneously supporting Ukraine and Israel and ensuring "international security" in general.

Kiev even now has broad support among US Democrats, but "they are divided on the issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict", the author of the article claims.

Putin said it was impossible to justify the terrible events in Gaza

Slovakia reacts to Zelensky's speech at the European Council
