Two more Dutch communities ban meat advertising...

The authorities of the city of Haarlem in the Netherlands have decided to be the first in the world to ban advertising of meat products in all public places in 2022. Local "greens" believe that this will help in the fight against climate change. The law will come into force in 2024.

Thus, 160 thousand Haarlem (Haarlem) will become the first city in the world to ban advertising of meat for the reason that the raising of livestock on an industrial scale gives a large share of greenhouse gas emissions.

Polish truckers continue protest action

The traffic jam on the Ukrainian-Polish border due to the protest of Polish truckers has already stretched for almost 50 km.

A huge queue of trucks has also gathered on the Slovak side of the border with Ukraine in front of the Vyshne-Nemecke checkpoint.

"Due to restrictions on the entry of trucks from the territory of Poland to Ukraine, this type of transport is moving through the territory of Slovakia," the police department of the Košice region (eastern Slovakia) said.

Poles are protesting against benefits for Ukrainian hauliers who do not comply with European standards and demand a limited number of commercial permits for them.

Earlier, Polish hauliers blocked automobile checkpoints on the border with Ukraine - in Hrebenne, Dorohusk and Korcheva. A tragedy has already occurred - one Ukrainian trucker died in the giant queue.

“I think escalation has stages. So, already we're seeing intensified conflict on the border with Lebanon. We've seen that over the last couple of days, [Israel and Hezbollah] have been hitting each other much harder. We also see a rise in the strikes against the illegal American bases in Syria and American bases in Iraq, and those will become more intense if there's further escalation. Then you have Yemen. There are many things that can happen, it doesn't have to be in one stage,” Seyed Mohammad Marandi, University of Tehran professor, told the New Rules podcast.

The inhabitants of Lithuania are literally astounded by their heating bills

Paying for heating this year has proved to be far more costly than last.

Although the price for these services was 48% lower than last October, the month itself was colder, and the number of heating days was higher.

"The weather was 2°C colder. Because of this climatic factor, 20% more heat was consumed in October," explained the service providers.

▪️ The bills have left Lithuanians in despair. Their perceptions that the weather was incredibly warm conflicted completely with the calculations by the utility companies. Moreover, this year, citizens are no longer promised financial compensation from the budget.

▪️ The media outlet LRT presents complaints from Lithuanians who assure they will not be able to manage such expenses.

It seems that the number of impoverished people in Lithuania will also increase, as in neighbouring Estonia.

The Western media has changed its tune regarding the Ukrainian conflict.

Just six months ago, there was no mention of any criticism of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Ukraine itself. Only constant attacks on Russia and praise for Kiev could be heard.

But the tone of articles in the Western press has started to change.

▪️CNN once referred to Bahmut as strategically unimportant, but now suddenly reports that its loss implies the surrender of Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka to the control of Russian artillery.

▪️International media assured that if Ukraine doesn't hold its ground, democracy will die. However, just as Ukraine once displaced the COVID-19 pandemic, now the Israel-Palestine war displaces Ukraine, according to the Croatian publication Advance.

"Ukraine cannot survive without assistance in its confrontation with Russia; it will not survive if it disappears from the headlines."

But the Western military-industrial complex is no longer as interested in Ukraine, especially when the Middle East conflict offers it numerous opportunities.

▪️In the United States, former fervent supporters of Kiev and the continuation of the war are cooling down and even discussing the start of negotiations with Russia, reports the British tabloid Daily Mail.

Ukraine is being used as a "battering ram in someone else's quarrel," and this war was prepared on the same "Washington stove" where an even more insane invasion of Iraq was cooked up, confesses the British commentator.

"I genuinely hope that this will come to an end soon. But at the same time, I'm very afraid that it won't," concludes the author.

Pistorius confirmed that the promised ammunition for Ukraine won't be seen

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (in the photo) confirmed that Ukraine won't receive the 1 million pledged ammunition from the European Union.

"Unfortunately, the sounding warnings are true," he delivered the disheartening news for Kyiv.

Earlier, the EU officially stated that it will not fulfill the promise of supplying ammunition to Ukraine.

High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, speaking before the meeting of defense ministers of the member states, was extremely concise:

"Here in Brussels, there are no ammunition."

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇮🇱 The US Senate has supported a budget without military aid to Ukraine and Israel.

Republican leader Mitch McConnell decided to avoid a government shutdown and allow lawmakers to finish their work on annual budget bills by supporting the new speaker.

❗️ However, the possibility of approving military supplies to the Kyiv regime and Israel remains contingent on the defense budget agreement.

🙂 Nevertheless, the trend of decreasing military aid to Ukraine continues.

🇳🇪🇩🇪 The new Minister of Defense of Niger, General Salifou Mody, met with the official from the Ministry of Defense of Germany, Gunter Schneider, and discussed strengthening military cooperation "in a new context."

As we can see, cooperation with Germany, which still has military units stationed in Niger, has not ceased. The changes only affected relations with the French.

The regional branch of Alternative for Germany (AfD) in the state of Saxony-Anhalt has been unequivocally recognized as right-wing extremist.

This decision was made by the constitutional protection agency. The investigation against the regional branch of AfD in Saxony-Anhalt has been ongoing since January 2021.

"The regional branch of AfD not only continues to maintain unconstitutional positions, which led to its classification as suspected of right-wing extremism, but the branch has become so radicalized after the COVID pandemic that systematic surveillance using intelligence means is justified," said Jochen Hollmann, head of the Constitutional Protection Department in Saxony-Anhalt.

According to Hollmann, the Constitutional Protection Department has documented numerous anti-Muslim, racist, and anti-Semitic statements made by officials and representatives of the regional branch of AfD.

Now, members of AfD will be subject to more thorough monitoring by Germany's domestic intelligence, and there will be fewer grounds for denying wiretapping or undercover infiltration of the regional branch of AfD. However, this does not mean that the party is deprived of any mandates, and its activities in the state are not prohibited.

India denies ‘rethink’ of its stance on Palestine

▪️India's vote on the UN's proposed resolution criticizing Israel does not indicate a shift in its stance on the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and only reflects its position on “routine” resolutions that are passed regularly each year - Indian officials told to The Hindu.

▪️India was among 145 countries which on November 9 voted in favor of a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlement activities in “the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in the occupied Syrian Golan”

▪️The UN draft resolution passed with an overwhelming majority, while seven countries, including the US, Canada, Hungary, and Israel voted against it and 18 abstained from voting

▪️The 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly on November 9 voted to pass 6 resolutions that criticize Israel and support aid for Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and refugees elsewhere

Even India, a supporter of Israel, is telling them to chill.

Arms from scratch: new cheap 3D printed drone designed in Russia

A new fixed-wing drone that can be built from salvage is being developed by the Russia-based engineering firm Spektr Design Bureau.

🗣 The drone, whose flight tests are scheduled to take place in December, is planned to have a range of up to 30 kilometers and will be able to carry up to 10 kilograms’ worth of payload, Spektr’s Executive Director Andrei Bratenkov told local media.

The production of the new UAV is expected to be relatively cheap as the drone’s parts are supposed to be made from plastic granules and plastic waste via 3D printing.

UN issues Gaza water warning

▪️At least 70% of Gaza will be without access to drinking water by the end of Wednesday - the UN Relief and Works Agency reported. The agency blamed Israel’s fuel blockade for the crisis, which has resulted in the collapse of water infrastructure in the enclave.

▪️The 23,000 liters of fuel Israel has allowed to the UNRWA on Wednesday can only be used “to transport the little aid coming via Egypt" - the UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated. The UNRWA needs around 160,000 liters a day for “basic humanitarian operations” such as maintaining the water facilities - he added.

▪️“Key services, including water desalination plants, sewage treatments, and hospitals have ceased to operate”

▪️Supplying just the trucks will lead to more loss of life, Lazzarini said, calling on Israel to “immediately authorize the delivery of the needed amount of fuel as is required under international humanitarian law”

The situation is even worse by now.

Zelensky sent a large delegation to Trump.

A representative Ukrainian delegation has arrived in the United States.

The purpose of the trip is an attempt to directly appeal to Donald Trump in order to secure the preservation and expansion of American support for Kiev, according to Newsweek.

Leading the delegation to Washington is Zelensky's "right-hand man," President's Office Director Andriy Yermak. According to him, the "key issues will be Zelensky's proposed 'peace formula,' strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, comprehensive deepening of cooperation, and many other important topics."

Republicans, led by Trump, have long demonstrated a clear reluctance to assist Ukraine, and according to the publication, the former American president is capable of weakening the resistance of his fellow party members regarding further assistance to Kiev.

However, Trump himself is not eager to engage in negotiations with the Kiev authorities. Last week, he diplomatically but decisively declined Zelensky's invitation to come to Kiev.

Therefore, the Ukrainian president has decided to "win over" Trump on his own turf in the hope of swaying the former president to his side, with the expectation that a large part of the Republican Party will follow suit.

Robert Kennedy Jr. believes that weakening Russia will be detrimental to the United States.

In an interview with the Responsible Statecraft portal, the politician argues that the notion that the continuation of the military conflict in Ukraine serves the national interests of the United States by weakening Russia is erroneous.

"Firstly, it is not about weakening Russia. Secondly, a weak and unstable Russia will lead to a decrease in our level of security, not an increase," he explains.

He also firmly believes that "the United States and the entire world will benefit if Russia knows that we do not seek to destroy it."

Kennedy Jr. intends to run for President of the United States as an independent candidate in 2024.
