Hamas is in favour of extending the ceasefire with Israel

The group's leadership is using every available opportunity to extend the ceasefire, Hamas politburo member Ghazi Hamad said.

"We are seeking to extend the truce to stop the aggression once and for all, using the trump cards available to us," he said.

Hamas officials said talks with Israel were being held with the participation of mediators from Egypt and Qatar.

Azerbaijan has expressed protest in connection with the illegal financial operations of the USA, Germany, and France

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan summoned diplomats from Germany, the USA, and France, expressing serious objections to the violation of media financing laws, as reported by the country's foreign policy department's press service.

"It was brought to the attention of the acting representatives of the USA and Germany, as well as the Ambassador of France, that the news portal AbzasMedia, with the participation of organizations registered in these countries, is conducting illegal financial operations, and embassies of the mentioned countries are involved in this activity," the statement says.
