Israel has authorised the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip
The Israeli authorities and the Hamas group, with the participation of the Qatari Foreign Ministry, have agreed on the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave.
Under the terms of the deal, the Palestinian side guarantees the delivery of medicines to Israeli citizens held in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the import of medicines and humanitarian aid for the civilian population.
The consignment of humanitarian aid from Qatar will be delivered to the Egyptian city of El-Arish by two aircrafts of the Qatari armed forces for further transport to Gaza in the near future.
Earlier, Israel's army command said it was winding down fighting in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, following the destruction of Hamas infrastructure in those areas.

Four months later, there is no sign of an imminent end to the fighting in Gaza. There are several aspects to Israel's and Hamas' prolongation of the war, a Lebanese media outlet notes.
▪️ First, Israel is seizing the moment to impose its policy of occupying all Palestinian territory on the West. The Israelis are ethnically cleansing the Arab population and forcibly deporting Palestinians from their homeland.
They also want to demolish the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for the sake of building the Third Temple.
But Palestinian resistance threatens to undo all the results of Israeli policy.
▪️ Second, Israel is a springboard for American influence in the Middle East as part of the US strategy to encircle the Eurasian powers of Russia and China, as well as Iran.

Latvian president urges West to support Ukraine 'until victory'
Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics has said that Western countries should abandon the "we will help as long as it takes" strategy in supporting Ukraine.
"Our problem, the problem of the West, is that we talk about our readiness to support Ukraine as long as it takes. But it is impossible to win with such a strategy," he said.
The Latvian president is sure that the West should follow a "until victory" strategy in this matter.

They were first sentenced in 2015, but Duda pardoned them.

According to the authorities, the explosions sounded at 04:30 local time in a number of settlements near the border between Iran and Pakistan.
Pakistan's foreign ministry said the strike was aimed at groups posing a threat to the country's national security.
The facilities of the so-called "Balochistan Liberation Army" were hit.
Earlier, Iran had struck the base areas of another group, Jaysh al-Adl, based in Pakistan.

Estonian authorities have encroached on the voting rights of Russians and Belarusians
Estonia intends to prevent citizens of Russia and Belarus on Estonian territory from participating in local municipal elections while the Ukrainian conflict is ongoing.
According to the Estonian constitution, all local residents over the age of 16 have the right to vote in these elections, including citizens of other EU countries, third countries, and stateless persons.
The president and the chancellor of the right recognise that a ban is impossible without changing the Estonian constitution.
▪️ Nevertheless the Estonian authorities intend to get their way by 2025, when elections to local government assemblies will be held.
The Ministry of Justice has promised to analyse the situation and make a proposal on how to limit the right of Russians and Belarusians to vote by changing the country's basic law.
