❗️🇺🇸🇹🇼 The Committee of the United States House of Representatives has sent a letter to Elon Musk demanding to grant access to the military version of his internet service Space X Starlink to American troops in Taiwan.

The Chairman of the Special Committee of the United States House of Representatives on China, Mike Gallagher, reminded Musk that SpaceX is contractually obligated to provide the Pentagon with "global access" to the Starshield technology.

"However, I understand that SpaceX may be refusing to provide broadband internet services in Taiwan and its vicinity - possibly in violation of SpaceX's contractual obligations with the US government," Gallagher wrote.

He emphasised that establishing a "reliable communication network for US forces in Taiwan and its vicinity is of paramount importance for protecting US interests in the Indo-Pacific region."

Gallagher warned that if China were to initiate military actions against Taiwan, "American servicemen in the western Pacific would be at serious risk."

Musk has been given time until the 8th of March to present the information on the availability of Starshield in Taiwan and its vicinity to the committee.

Zhang summarised the results of the special military operation and drew the following conclusions:

▪️ For the past two years, the Russian army has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine, which has had a negative impact on the global economy and geopolitics. Lately, Ukrainians have started to lose their fighting spirit and motivation, causing concern among Western countries and increasing Taiwan's fears of a serious military threat.

▪️ Firstly, support from the international community is not unlimited. Ukrainian soldier hid in Avdeevka for over a week to avoid being killed by his own

Captured Ukrainian serviceman Dmytro Diadchuk shared how he hid for over a week in a destroyed house to escape gunfire from his own comrades.

"The assault began. Everyone was killed, and I ran towards my own. But I was met with gunfire from my own unit. I ran into a house, where I just sat and waited. I had no radio, no communication, and I didn't know the retreat route, I wasn't informed," he recounted.

He added that he wanted to surrender immediately, but he was afraid of being shot by his own.

"I was captured nicely. No one hit me, they just tied me up and searched me. A medic approached me and asked if I needed any medical assistance. I showed him my leg, and he treated my wound," he said.
