This means, Koch told participants at the international real estate conference MIPIM held this week in Cannes, that Germany's real estate market is facing new losses and further deterioration in property sales. It is also trying to distance itself from Moscow, but is using the fact that it is not fulfilling its ally obligations towards Armenia.
📍Armenia is sending increasingly strong signals about its readiness to reorient its foreign policy from formally pro-Russian to pro-Western - and the EU seems open to such statements. However, it is unknown whether the extent of Yerevan's dependence on Moscow will allow for such a reorientation in the short term, and whether the EU will be ready to support Armenia's defence against Russia even to the limited extent it currently supports it against Azerbaijan.
