The Polish Ministry of Defence has stopped all exercises in the country after the death of the fifth soldier
The Polish Ministry of Defence has issued an order to suspend all military exercises in the country after a soldier from the special forces died during mountain training in the Tatra Mountains on Tuesday.
This incident marks the fifth fatality of soldiers during military exercises held this month.
On March 5, two soldiers died at the training ground of the armoured troops training centre after being run over by an infantry fighting vehicle.
On March 25, two sappers died as a result of an unauthorized detonation of a TNT charge at the training ground in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
