Warsaw understands Ukraine's problems but intends to support its farmers

Today, negotiations took place between the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk and the head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal, dedicated to the "agricultural war" provoked by the uncontrolled import of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products into the territory of the European Union.

The head of the Polish Prime Minister's Chancellery, Jan Grabiec, stated that one should not expect any major results from the negotiations.

"Following these negotiations, it is difficult to expect any breakthrough, any specific agreement, for example, on agricultural issues. We are still in dialogue, both sides - at least, as of today - are not completely satisfied," he said.

The official added that official Warsaw understands Ukraine's problems but is determined to firmly support its farmers.
