🇰🇷The Korean people defeated martial law, but the struggle continues!

In cities across the US, activists are mobilizing in solidarity with people in South Korea, who are demanding the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol after he attempted to impose martial law.

The North America-based Korean diaspora group Nodutdol organized rallies in Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco on the night of December 4, which were joined by organizations such as the Korea Peace Now Grassroots Network, Korean Americans for the Progressive Party, the Palestinian Youth Movement, the People’s Forum, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced on December 6 that it has accepted an Egyptian proposal to form a joint Palestinian social support committee to govern the Gaza Strip after the Israeli genocidal aggression on the besieged enclave ends.

Analysts voiced their “cautious optimism” regarding the progress of the talks, which have been marked by procrastination and the exchange of recriminations for 14 months.

In an unexpected turn of events, Romania is heading toward a repeated presidential election after the constitutional court annulled the first round held at the end of November two days before the second round.
