On Monday, January 20, as thousands were taking to the streets to protest Donald Trump’s inauguration, Trump himself signed a barrage of executive orders with broad implications.
These orders were largely an attempt to reverse many of the moves of the Biden administration, in particular Biden’s most progressive policies on immigration, racial justice, LGBTQ rights, and efforts to combat climate change.

Israeli authorities have subjected prisoners to severe mistreatment, many imprisoned under the infamous "administrative detention" ordinance, which allows them to take Palestinian prisoners without trial for months.
Since October 7, 2023, thousands of Palestinian prisoners in Israel have been subjected to violations of International Law and degrading treatment by Israeli Occupation Forces and Authorities.

Israel launches deadly “Iron Wall” operation in Jenin with support of PA

“This was not a random act of crime but a direct assault on our General Secretary, who has consistently stood up for justice, democracy, and socialism in Kenya,” the Communist Party Marxist-Kenya (CPMK) declared.

Amid a crisis of unemployment and rising prices in South Africa, People have taken to enter abandoned mines to try and find gold and minerals to sell and survive. South African authorities have launched a crackdown on these illegal mines, putting the lives of hundreds of miners at risk.
This is the context in which the bodies of 78 dead miners were retrieved from Buffelsfontein mine’s Shaft 11 after being trapped underground since last August by the South African police who cut-off food and water supply in its crackdown.
