It's such a simple sentence and yet it feels like she really captured how it always felt to be a small town queer girl who's both terrified of defying societal expectations and eager to be her authentic self

I beg of you to please notice the small acts of kindness people do towards others

The people in the back of the bus urging the driver to stop because someone is running to catch it, someone offering to carry something heavy for a stranger who's struggling with it, helping a parent distract a distressed toddler by making funny faces.
