When you have a privilege (for instance: I was born in a pretty good family, had high education, AM WHITE, etc.), every act of violence or oppression carried by other people of the same demographic, also benefits ✨you✨. Directly or indirectly. Whether you like it or not.

If you are white, you benefit from racism, bc it keeps the status quo in place.
If you're cis, you benefit from transphobia.
If you are rich, you benefit from class.
If you're a (cis) man, you benefit from the violence of every man in keeping others in control, since it's the most dominant class over each and every one.
If you are white, you benefit from everything, basically.

We always need to put in the work to unlearn and decolonise our own internalise behaviour. It's a work in progress and it will never be ended: deal with it.

I'm gonna address the comments on the previous post later when more spoons, but I wanted to make a separate post for a really important thing.


I am a real dysfunctional person, and when my mood is not at its best, the messiness is one of the first things that I let myself indulge a little bit too much in. So, I was to the point I was too freaked out to even walk in my bedroom except for taking stuff, cause it felt too messy, too dirty, too big. Cleaning it was impossible.

Today, without saying a word, my amazing flatmate, who's having their fair share of shit from life as well, completely cleaned my room and made it comfy for me again. They don't expect anything in return, I have no money, cooking freaks me out and I don't have many means to actually repay them, but that's not what this is about. They helped me when I couldn't help myself, when I was spiraling too much to even ask for help.

I am just so grateful, and I had to share my love and my bless in this moment. I am so thankful I have amazing people in my life, I hope everyone has a support system that can help them bloom as well.

My therapist at the beginning of the summer was like: "I don't think you should go that long without seeing someone, please refer to my colleague if you need it while I'm on vacay"
My therapist now: "Wassup girl I get you need therapy but until you won't pay me the previous ones we won't have a session bye"

I mean, I get her point, she has every right to get her money, but I also feel frustrated because idk if she told me beforehand I would have acted accordingly, so I am kinda mad at her and I don't think that's a good thing

Also since this has become My Personal My Melody Secret Diary, I will also say a good thing: tomorrow I will finally meet my catlike best friend, who I don't see from my graduation day on May during the party.
So, I'm gonna be extra cuddled for a few days and we're gonna watch osbcure old or very weird horror movies, feel free to leave advices about that
