The doctrinal heart (what theologians call "the material cause") of the Catholic/Protestant divide is over justification. However, many people on both sides don't fully understand the opposite side. Hence, I'm attempting to rectify that in this article. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/justification-reformed-view-vs-roman

Liberalism and skepticism are simply intellectual disguises for unbelief and excuses for sin.
"Be very sure of this, -- people never reject the Bible because they cannot understand it. They understand it only too well; they understand that it condemns their own behaviour; they understand that it witnesses against their own sins, and summons them to judgment. They try to believe it is false and useless, because they do not like to allow it is true. 'A bad life,' said the celebrated Lord Rochester, laying his hand on the Bible, 'a bad life is the only grand objection to this book.' 'Men question the truth of Christianity,' says South, 'because they hate the practice of it.'" - J. C. Ryle

This marks a turning point in American history. Despite how politicized the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown cases were, the jury made the right decision. Now, if you're white in America, you can bank on a court finding against you, no matter the evidence.
My co-blogger has had tons of experience debating/discussing with Mormons. He wrote this week's article on some verses he finds useful in talking with Mormons about the Gospel. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/how-mormonism-denies-the-gospel
I just finished reading "Mere Christianity" by C. S. Lewis. Would you be interested in a review from a Reformed perspective?

There is no true knowledge apart from Christ, the arche.

"Every line of true knowledge must find its completeness in its convergency to God, even as every beam of daylight leads the eye to the sun." - R. L. Dabney
R. L. Dabney on the advent of government schooling in 1879: "All prayers, catechisms, and Bibles will ultimately be driven out of the schools." #homeschoolingFTW

This question frequently perplexes conservatives, much to their detriment, in my opinion. Understanding why the left does what it does and how they acquire unlikely allies is crucial for the right to understand. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/why-do-white-male-liberals-push-diversity

She may not be that smart, but you have to admit: She makes a persuasive case for patriarchy.
What books have you guys been reading lately?
We all have to navigate leftist institutions, and so it's of paramount importance that we do so intelligently. We need smart strategies while in the left's organizations, and even smarter ones while building our own. https://protestantpost.substack.com/p/how-to-survive-in-leftist-controlled

I'm a Reformed Baptist, but I have to admit this is hilarious:
