Exciting News: My First Game is Now on Steam! Mind Blowing, Right?

I've been programming games for the last 30-some years and never once did I think about selling them... So today I present to you, my first attempt at commercialization. The trailer sucks! :) But I had to put something so I made something for now but I will update soon. If you want to see what I came up with for a product, head on down to the steam link yonder.

Got a little distracted while working on a project and ended up creating my first AI? Bot? NPC? Something that behaves like my dog, it sleeps, eats, and does nothing... just like my real dog.

I want to make a Udemy course and I'm looking for input

Hey folks! I would like to make a Udemy course about making games with Unity, and I'd like some feedback from anyone interested in that sort of thing. What would you personally find useful? What do you feel is missing on Udemy or YouTube?

I've noticed that the most popular courses on Udemy seem to be a catch-all "complete course" that cover every aspect of making a game, so to avoid trying to compete with them I'd like to focus in on something more specific.

I have a ton of experience with small indie games, action games, pixel art, C#, Roguelikes, action-Roguelikes, arcade games, stuff in that ballpark. So this is where I'd like to focus my course. I am very knowledgable with Unity and I've released several indie games. Knowledge is not so much the issue, I'm just not sure what topic to focus the course on.

Any feedback from anyone with experience with Udemy or desire to learn would be great. Thank you!

Unity's particle system problem?

Hello everyone,
I heard about a little bug in the particle system of unity, have you heard about it too?

I don't really know what was it about, I think it was that the code of a destroyed particle is still running.
I don't know, and in that case would it be better to code my own particle system?

Thanks.

This is the ability of one of the spirits in my Unity game (a social deduction game), the Gumiho. During the ability's activation period, if it touches a person for a few seconds or more, it can execute a kill. What do you think? Does it feel too overpowered?

How to implement 2D world map in Unity?

I want to put a 2d world map into unity (exactly a map like google maps, so also with zooming in and moving around with cursor/wasd)

I could use Google Maps API, but I don't have a credit card.

I could use Mapbox, but its pricey, already paying with 100+ users (will every game download on steam or itch.io count for one user?)
I could use openstreetmap.org, but I didn't find a proper, understandble tutorial. I do know there're are some assets using osm, but those are paid and I'm not planning spending any money on the game (I will also publish the game for free)
Do you guys have any recommendations or tutorials?

Thanks in advance!
