MySMS Not Working - Unable to Even Find Where To Text

I've been using mySMS for some time quite happily. Today I upgraded to a new phone (Galaxy S25 Ultra) and reinstalled mySMS - and it doesn't work. I've successfully logged in and so forth, but whenever I open it it just shows me a screen with a cartoon monitor and the message "Ready to use" and the link to open mySMS on a computer. There's nowhere to actually send or look at messages.

Yes, mySMS is set as the default messaging app.

Looking for a text to speech reader that lets you save as an audio file

I really need to make some alarms that will actually get my attention, I think the best way I can do that with maybe be to have a robot voice repeat the thing the alarm is for over and over again, thus I would really love an app that just lets me type in something and have it as a audio file.

Looking for an Android app that fake-blocks calls/data for short periods

Occasionally strangers ask to use my phone for a quick call or UPI transfer.
I don’t want to hand over my device for privacy and security reasons, but saying “no balance” or “no recharge” sounds awkward or rude.
Is there any Android app that can temporarily:
Fake No Service
Block outgoing calls
Show Call Failed
Disable UPI/data
or simulate Network Unavailable
without having to actually remove my SIM or turn on airplane mode manually?
Basically something that makes the phone look unusable for a moment so I can politely refuse without confrontation.
Not looking for hacking/spying stuff just a simple safeguard that visually shuts down calling and UPI without messing with my regular usage.
Any privacy-focused tools or open-source apps recommended

App for manual notes and project management

Hello everyone,
I just bought a Tab S9 for work and I need your suggestions for an app to manage manual notes and project.
What I need is an app that have:
1) Folder for every project, possibly syncing with One Drive
2) Writing notes with the S-Pen, with multi page options
3) Integrated project management
The synchronization with One Drive is quite important, I used it a lot for work. And for the writing note I'll write a lot with the pen, my work is 50% writings notes and now I'm using too much paper 😅.
Is there an app like the one I'm searching? No problem if is a premium one, just as complete as possible.

Is there any apps or any way to download youtube playlist and videos all at once?

Since I'm trying to focus on studies i plan on blocking youtube for a while but the problem is all my university classes are from YouTube. I tried to download them from websites but you have to go through every single video in the playlist to download them so I was wondering if there was any easy way I can download it all at once. I previously used TERMUX but it only works occasionally and most of the time returns error.

Secure airplane mode and power-off functions

What: I'm after an app that can lock down the airplane mode, and ideally all other network setting when my phone is locked or even better, when it it also unlocked. In addition an app that stops the phone from being powered off.

Why: to prevent a thief or phone snatcher from putting my device in airplane mode and defeating 'find my phone' apps, or more crucially wiping the device.

I'm aware apps like this exist, but this only prevents those functions when the phone is locked. However, as is common now, phones are snatched from your hand while it is unlocked. Also, I had a weird issue where it wouldn't allow me to use my fingerprint to unlock when using the app.

1. Are there any apps (could be two) that will do what I need?
2. Can it be done on non-rooted phone?
3. What about Tasker type apps?

If there are no sure ways to do what I need, would rooting be the only option? Concerned if I root, my banking apps will stop working. Any thoughts?

​I’m looking for an app that allows me to choose which WiFi networks can be used for app updates and cloud backups (Google Photos, etc.).
​My situation: I often tether from my brother's phone, but my phone treats it as a regular "unlimited" WiFi and starts downloading huge updates, which drains his data. I only want these updates to happen on my home WiFi.

How do i block specific apps adds

The same ad has been appearing for me for like weeks now. Its one of those stupid "satisfying asmr" makeover games but when the ad pops up its so bad its basically gore and i dont deal well with that sort of stuff. Im walking on eggshells i could literally get jumpscared by gore at any second i open an app. I cant directly block it through the ad, it only lets me mark it as like harmful/violent/sexual which it is none. On play store, i can only mark the app as "didn't like the ad" but it just keeps popping up. Any other way i can directly block this specific ad or app?

Omnia Music Player - reduce volume and replay gain

Hello, I started using Omnia Music Player as my main application for playing local MP3 music, but I am having some problems:

1. Reduce volume option doesn't work. When I use navigation or notification sound comes, the music does not turn down.
2. My local MP3 music has replaygain tags added by mp3gain. AIMP reads them, but Omnia Music Player does not. 

Do you guys have similar issues?
Is there any fix or workaround?

Alternatives to 1Money with data import feature?

Recently the money tracking app 1Money, which I've been using for 6 years, has had some pretty questionable updates, and since I hadn't bought the lifetime subnoscription, now it has become completely unusable for me (not gonna pay €24 per year for a money tracking app). I'm looking for a free alternative – or even one that doesn't have a f*ing monthly or yearly subnoscription – that lets me import all my data from 1Money stored in a SQLite 3 database, so that I can keep all my expenses and income categories as they are – basically I would like the transition to be as smooth as possible. Does an app like this even exist? Thank you!

How to get my old Schichtkalender working on my new phone?

Hi.

I was using Schichtkalender or Shift Calendar by Alex Gugel since around 2011.

It was a bought version that was at the Play Store at that time.

Whenever i switched to a new phone i simply moved the app.

Bought the more expensive PRO Version later on.

Then the moving did not work anymore and i searched a long time untill i found an old APK from 2013 (last version for Android) and installed this.

But i lost the .apk and cannot find it any more.

So how can i geht this App to my new phone?

Alternatives to Veracrypt for Android

I am looking for an alternative to veracrypt for android. On android I've tried EDS and EDS lite but it didn't seem to work. Mainly it doesn't seem to see any containers on my SD card and only being able to open the container within EDS lite's gimped file manager.
