I like namida concept, but that app is super prone to crashing for me. Is there alternative to it?
I love the concept of more folder based library.
This is what I currently use, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.musicplayer.player.mp3player.white. but it's old so it's runs the risk of being discontinued

App to move chrome tab groups to another phone/browser?
I'm switching phones and using this move to go from chrome to Firefox
But I'm a tab horder and I actually have groups of tabs that I've organised and want to access on my new phone, but I have so many that going through and individually bookmarking each page is just impossible in my life atm
I've seen lots of desktop apps like workona, or tabbox etc but haven't been able to find something for android or even just a way to mass bookmark group tabs

Streak of daily updates for Nova Launcher with empty "what's new" log
Anyone knows anything about it? Feels suspicious. I've seen 4 updates every day on Google play, each with an empty "what's new". Wondering about exploits.

I Tried Too Many Productivity Apps - These 5 Stayed
I've tried way too many productivity apps on Android over the years. Most are either bloated, distracting, or just glorified to-do lists. These 5 genuinely help me stay focused and organized.
# 1. Todoist
Still the gold standard for task management.
Clean UI
Powerful recurring tasks
Works great across devices
📱 Play Store:
# 2. Clock Orbit
This one surprised me.
It’s a minimal, distraction-free clock + productivity tool that focuses on time awareness and focus, not endless features.
Beautiful, calm UI
Helps with time blocking and deep focus
No ads, no clutter
📱 Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clockorbit
# 3. Notion
Best all-in-one workspace.
Notes, tasks, databases
Insane customization
Learning curve is real, but worth it
📱 Play Store:
# 4. Habitorbit
Great for building and tracking habits that support productivity, not just reminders.
Habit tracking with progress visualization
Builds routines that reinforce focus and consistency Play Store: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.habitorbit](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.habitorbit)
# 5. Forest
If phone distraction is your enemy, this helps.
Gamified focus sessions
Encourages staying off your phone
Simple but effective
📱 Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cc.forestapp
Productivity apps only work if they reduce friction. If an app makes you manage the app instead of your time, it’s already failed.
Drop your setups or underrated apps below - always looking for better workflows.

Video compressor app that preserves metadata including location data?
Are there any Android apps that compress video files while also preserving metadata – including location/GPS coordinates – for the compressed output file?
I know the FFShare Android app can preserve metadata when compressing both image and video files but it absolutely refuses to preserve location data for MP4 files. And unfortunately Google Photos doesn't let you add location data to video files unless they're uploaded to Google Drive, which is a problem if you don't have enough space or otherwise don't want such videos on the cloud. I've used quite a few video compressor apps that preserve metadata including location when I was using iOS, but I haven't been able to find any Android apps that can despite researching for some time.
Does anyone know of any such apps? It'd also be a bonus if they were open source.
Thanks in advance.

Paid Android apps forgetting that I paid.
I recently had some strange issues after Play Store updated where it kept crashing. I tried clearing data but this did not help. I thought I might trying clearing Play Services Data. I also then noticed an option to uninstall Play Store updates. One of these seemed to fix the issue.
After clearing Play Services, I noticed alot of issues with apps. Lots of permissions being lost and not auto requested again so it took a while to re-enable those.
Finally, I had several paid apps where when I opened them, they immediately told me I need to pay and forwarded me to the play store. The only fix I found was to reinstall the apps.
However there is one app "LiveATC" that won't work. For whatever reason, when I go to the play store now, it says my phone is no longer supported (eventhough it was working fine). This means I can't reinstall it.
I even managed to download the APK from the store using aurora store and manually installing the apk via ADB but it didnt fix anything, still fowarding me to the play store.
Is there any solution to my issue to get it to realize I paid so I can use the app again?
BTW, play store auto updated again and started crashing again.

Looking for an app for random wallpapers
I've used to use an app called "SB Wallpaper Changer", but it would seem it got so deprecated and abandoned, it's no longer available. I liked its features for changing the wallpaper every x minutes, on unlock and on double tap on home screen and the fact it had no problem with my 3000+ wallpapers folder. Though I had to keep my wallpapers on my phone memory as it's so old it couldn't ask for microSD access. Now I'm looking for anything similar since it would seem that for whatever reason Android still doesn't have such a basic feature as random wallpaper from a folder every x minutes. Would be nice if the app was open source, as of now I'm using "Paperize", but it often crashes and sometimes zooms way too much on the "Fill" setting. (I guess that's when it crashes, because it can work fine on the same wallpaper.)

I'm looking for a free unlimited music app that you can download songs and listen to offline. Any suggestions?
I used to use treble and then they put a song limit on it. So I'm looking for something like that without a limit and that's free.

Looking for a keyboard that has the following requirements:
So I've tried before both Gboard and Microsoft SwiftKey but i need a best of both worlds keyboard, what im looking at is a keyboard that's close to these features:
1. A LOT (and i mean all of the new) selection of the emojis, cuz gboard doesn't seem to have some emojis such as 🫡
2. A clipboard (obviously), and perhaps a tool to edit text (like select all, go left and right, paste... Etc)
3. Maybe the entire symbols graph, just like on windows and such, or at least maybe a feature that allows you to add new keys (similar to a clipboard but like it adds to the symbols button, ik, im asking for a lot)
4. An actually good word suggestions (moving from gboard to Microsoft SwiftKey, i noticed that it's word suggestions are less accurate than in gboard)
5. And finally: the ability to customize the keyboard: background, accent color, height, modes like floating and sided... Etc
This sounds like a setup for an ultimate keyboard, if i had the power to make one i would definitely do it
