First Librem 5 Birch phones being unboxed
Seems like Purism's Librem 5 phone (using that word even though you cannot yet talk on the phone it seems) is finally being delivered to some real users.
AMA from a user who got a Librem 5 delivered, over on r/Purism:

How to resize LUKS encryptedpartition (shrink or extend LUKS device) in Linux
I have written an article with the steps to extend and shrink LUKS encrypted device on a logical volume. Although such practice is not officially recommended but if it is required then one can follow this guide.
I have tested the extend and shrink on ext4 file system, while shrink doesnot works on XFS filesystem.
Do let me know your views if this needs to be improved in any manner.
I plan to write some more article on the same topic related to Network Bound Disc Encryption in RHEL 8

So I got an old laptop up and running and it’s lvm encrypted. I know that password but don’t know my user password. How can I reinstall an os? As I can boot onto USB but due to cryptosetup it won’t boot to be able to delete. And going back to windows is mundane

The file /var/lib/dbus/machine-id matters for your privacy (and Devuan fixed it)

This patch matters for everyone's privacy and I hope more distributions will follow our example, let alone Debian. We are dealing with important privacy implications: non-consensual user tracking is illegal in many countries and is [not even mentioned in the machine-id documentation so far](https://wiki.debian.org/MachineId)."

Cannolo: a tool to shrink, flash and expand disk images on external devices
Cannolo is a simple bash tool that automatically shrinks disk images, flashes them on an external disk/device and expand the primary partition in order to fill the entire disk space.
I developed it in order to easily replicate some disk images/configurations on disks.
