Cannolo: a tool to shrink, flash and expand disk images on external devices
Cannolo is a simple bash tool that automatically shrinks disk images, flashes them on an external disk/device and expand the primary partition in order to fill the entire disk space.
I developed it in order to easily replicate some disk images/configurations on disks.

Trying to switch over to linux from windows but ran into two issues and would like suggestions
So i dual booted ubuntu because i thought it has the most apps and support (let me know if u have a better distro for me). Im a senior CS student and setting stuff up in windows is a major pain in the ass. I wanted to dual boot MacOS and Windows just so i can use MacOS for programming stuff but making a hackintosh is another pain. Anyways i mainly plan to do web development and android development in android studios so for that i think ubuntu is fine (maybe there is a better distro for this? im really new to linux).

Anyways i found out that some major apps i use day to day are not supported by Ubuntu. For example, i use onedrive to sync everything from my desktop, laptop, phone and tablet. I downloaded InSync but its saying that i have a 15 day trial and another problem i have is that InSync doesn't let me resize the window which is a pain.

I usually monitor the temps but idk how i can do it in linux.

Pop!_OS is pretty awesome
Hi guys, first time Linux user. Installed 4 different distributions as guests on Virtual Box to get familiar with the Linux installation process across different distributions: RHEL, Manjaro, Kali, Debian, and Pop!\_OS. On Kali and Debian, I chose to have KDE as my desktop environment while Manjaro has Xfce set up, and Gnome was set up on RHEL and Pop!. Of course, since these where running on virtual machines running in Windows, performance isn't as snappy as performance would have been had I installed them on a real machine. However, Pop! performs really well. Videos played on the other Linux distros is choppy and "tears," which is to be expected since I didn't set up PCI passthrough to utilize my graphics card for rendering thus having that workload performed by my CPU. But video runs smoothly in Pop!\_OS. I allocated the same RAM and CPU core amounts to each VM, and yet Pop! is killing it! Anyways, wanted to share my "findings" with the community. Love Linux and hope to one day master its style of kung fu.

How to best make use of LA's 7 day trial?
I'm an intern at a tech security company looking to expand my Linux knowledge. I'm not sure there's much to REALLY learn in only 7 days, but I could be wrong, as I've never used the platform before. Is there a lot to take advantage of in the trial?
