Linux CBT Nuggets

Anyone have any reviews for the Linux programs on CBT nuggets? They worth their salt or is my time better spent somewhere else. I already have general knowledge of Linux buf trying to dive a lil deeper. Thanks for any replies!

1080p DRM streaming, why not on Linux?

HBO, Amazon, Netflix.. they all restrict to 720p on Linux, why this stupid decision? Switching the browser agent doesn't work nor custom extensions. Do we will ever have 1080p streaming on Linux?

13 Years of Macintosh: Pop OS, Ubuntu or Elementary OS?

Hi everyone, I'm Francesco and I've been using OS X (before) and MacOS (now) for almost 13 years, with just some casual Windows usage in between.

I'm really intrigued to try some Linux distributions, but I don't know which one to pick being a complete beginner. Unfortunately I have also zero knowledge on the command lines and that's the reason why I would stick with something very similar to MacOS.

I've done a little research and this is what I got:

**Ubuntu:** the oldest one and probably the most complete/reliable

**ElementaryOS:** very MacOS style, but too simple in certain aspects

**Pop OS:** in between, with a clean u/I but also nice options for advanced features

My question is: is it totally fine trying to switch from Mac OS to Linux without having any Terminal knowledge? If no, which is the easiest distro to use?

Linux natively running Windows apps

Hello yall!! Is there any Linux DISTRO that natively runs Windows applications, without having to use WINE or something like that?

I've heard that REACT OS does that, but as I've seen not all the Windows applications can be run on React Os, but only a limited list of programs.

Is there any better option?
