Gallium OS is taking up so much storage on my chromebook...
I installed Gallium OS on my chromebook so that it can dual boot both chrome os and gallium os. After a while, I powerwashed my chromebook, intending to delete gallium os. But then in chrome os, it kept saying "Device disk space critically low." How do I completely get rid of gallium os and free up space?

File that root gets "permission denied"
I didn't even know this was possible.
My Netgear ReadyNAS OS 6.10 server uses a file in the \~/.ssh directory named `ssh_authorized_key` (rather than the standard `authorzied_key` file that pretty much all linux distros use for ssh key-bases logins. I'm fine with this, but I cannot figure out why, as a root user logged in to the CLI, I cannot modify this file, whatsoever. I can't move it, delete it, or modify it. Permission denied.. as root.
What is this about? I get that Netgear intends that edits should be made thought the web-based GUI, but why can't root modify this file?
The `getfacl` shows no extra ACLs on the file. I'm stumped
(I hope the bot doesn't block this. I am more curious as to how this is possible, rather than how to fix.)

What are some things people aren't told about Linux?
So I might be building a new pc for uni and to save money on an OS Linux has been coming to mind.
But the only things I hear is that it has a learning curve, support for games is improving and it's aimed for server usage.
So my main question is what is it actually like trying to get support for games because finding out I won't be able to play rocket league is a massive deal breaker.
What are some of the functionalities you will lose from leaving windows, right now the main thing I do is play games, run a Plex server, YouTube and Netflix is all of that (barring games) still compatible.
Finally my uni course is games programming so I will need access to Unity, Unreal Engine and Visual studio (as well as some stuff like Google docs etc), are these compatible?
Obviously if I am only looking to save money is it even worth getting linux?
The last point I don't know how to word fully but what are some of the main things that drew you in or some important details to share?

Creating a Virtual Monitor that my KDE sees as any normal display, and having a VNC / remote-desktop server manage it
I have access to a big all-in-one computer running Windows. I want to use it as a monitor for my Arch Linux laptop, but I cannot do it the simple way: that all-in-one computer doesn't have a video input port.
I'm thus thinking to use that computer as a VNC or remote-desktop client connected to my system. I want the experience to be as seamless as possible though: this second monitor should act like any normal second monitor would: managed as a second display for my X11 screen by KDE.
Is it possible to create a virtual display on my Linux system that my DE, KDE, sees as any normal external display, and have a VNC/remote-desktop server managing it?
If you have other ideas to achieve my desired result, I'm of course interested!

NordVPN for linux app.
Hi all,
I've created a small app that lets you connect to nordvpn on linux, it uses their cli, xtermjs and electron under the hood. Note that this app is not final, actually it's a first small release with most of their cli functionality working.

Windows missing from bootloader
So, I have a bit of experience with Linux and I've tried a few distros and I quite like OpenSuse. Problem is after installing it I boot to the Grub2 Bootloader and my options are: "OpenSuse", "Advanced OpenSuse" and some other option that just has more OpenSuse in it. If I change the boot order in the UEFI menu I can boot into Windows normally and hitting F11 during startup brings up the boot menu like normal for me to choose.
So my question is, is there a specific way I have to install OpenSuse to include Windows in the Grub menu or can I add the windows entry to the grub menu? Windows was on there first. Linux is on a separate ssd

KDE Plasma and Latte dock stuck in full-screen/low resource mode.
Hey all, I recently tried playing 7 Days to Die on my PopOS install. Long story short, I tried generating a random world, the game locks up my system and I had to reboot. However, since rebooting my KDE Plasma desktop and my Latte dock have been constantly stuck in their full-screen mode, or their "low power" mode or something like that. It's the mode when you're playing a full-screen game so it doesn't take up too many resources, when all the flashy effects are disabled and Latte constantly has a static brown background.
I've tried rebooting a few times, tried launching 7DTD again and quitting instantly as well as some other full-screen games, and looked into some settings and searched some questions online but can't find any existing post about this, so I'm asking here. Are there any methods I can try to fix this, preferably without reinstalling Plasma and Latte?
