FYI: UK users - Channel 4 live TV now works
I haven't been able to view Channel 4 for approx 5 years (it used to work with hal-flash but after about 2015 you haven't been able to)
You can now watch it live on Linux (and I assume 40d) as they have changed their site.
You need flash enabled however.
Some really good content on the channel, including Channel 4 news.
I have only tested it with Chrome (as I do not have a flash plugin ever enable in my main browser, Firefox)

"Contained" wine app?
Does anyone know of any Wine based apps that instead of having a user have to install Wine first, wine-ifies the .exe so it is perfectly portable and can be put on Linux systems without Wine? Like what Winebottler for Mac OS does but for Linux.
If I've made a program for Windows that works flawlessly on Ubuntu using Wine, I'd prefer to release it as a standalone download that's ready to be launched instead of detouring the users with having to have Wine installed first. Maybe it's a non issue being that Linux users in general are very savvy and most already have Wine.

Installed Fedora 31 on my desktop dual boot with windows 10. Can Fedora "take over" the rest of the hard disk if I allow it?
That's a pretty wonky noscript - sorry. I've got Fedora 31 dual booting beside W10 and I've decided I no longer need/want my Windows installation. Is there a way to cause the Fedora installation to claim the Windows partitions if I delete them? Or do I need to just start over with a fresh Fedora install, this time deleting the Windows partitions so that Fedora can take the entire disk?

To-do list
I am looking for a to-do list application that has the ability to sync across all my devices, including windows, android, Linux and macOS. I like the way that Microsoft to do works with the tasks and being able to layout sub-steps. are there any other things out there in the wild that can do this for me?

Change or turn off RGB Lighting?
Hi! Recently I switched over to Linux, and it's great. One problem though, all the RGB Lighting on my PC and Peripherals are defaulted to the rainbow barf color scheme, and seeming the only way to either turn them off or change them is through windows, but as soon as I boot into Linux it reverts back to rainbow. Is there any way to change them in Linux? I have a Corsair water cooler, an Asus motherboard, Z.skill ram, and a Logitech mouse. Thanks for the help

The Painted Jacket (reposted as my main)
Hi everyone!
This is my main, as I caved and told my boyfriend and showed him the jean jacket I painted. I'm sorry I couldn't get it you guys sooner! You all were so much help and even though this might get removed, I wanted to thank you all.
Of course in order to lead him off track I had to give a different narrative. Him and I have been together for 5 years, and he's the cutest nerd I've ever seen.
This jacket took since the middle of February to complete from the bare bones to now. here's a link to the finished product!

Still Running OpenWRT?
I know flashing routers was hot 4+ years ago. Anyone here still running OpenWRT? I find that there are not. Whole lot of great options out there for routers, and I often observe a performance boost on OpenWRT-flashed routers or commercial routers yin’s OpenWRT. However, I worry that the community may be contracting. A few projects have died mid flight.
If you are running OpenWRT to contribute bug fixes or monetary support back to the program? If not, why not? This question is especially important for people working at companies using OpenWRT.

Phoro... doesn't understand PCIe lanes
I'm considering upgrading to the RX 570 because it can run at PCIe 3.0 x16 but they tested it with an Intel CPU that has only 16 lanes that with along an SSD makes the GPU run at x8. So I asses that this site is prone to fanboyism in their setup decisions. Intel chips are inferior in this aspect. Now I'm left wondering if the FPs in higher quality would be better with x16.
