Enforcement of AGPL
Lets say i write an AGPL program. If someone uses it in their website they have to also license their code AGPL, but unless its an obvious big modification, how do i know the code they released is the one they are actually using in the website ?

GNOME Extensions Rebooted: Porting your existing shell extensions to GNOME 40
This isn't on Planet GNOME yet, so I'm putting this out there as a PSA. If you could pass this along to your favorite extension author that would be great! GNOME 40 is almost upon on us and the extensions rebooted initiative continues apace. Here is the latest update - and hopefully we can get more extensions ported before GNOME 40 lands on distros.

Linux certifications
I'm pursuing a career in IT and want to get a Linux certification(s) which one(s) should I consider. Currently I'm taking a Cisco course on Linux that offers a coupon for the LPI exam after completion. Is this a good start?

About the Linux Community ;)
I am using Linux for about 1 year, but the specific part of the community which disturbs people if they don't think what they think is something I really hate. (Large amount of this guys are in the "toxic" part of the Arch community).
I love the Linux community which is polite and here to help people or improve Linux to make it better. That is why I really switched. It has changed me to think more positively, wanted to give help to others etc.
You are free to use/do what you want in Linux. This is what I really love.
But you are free as much as you don't interrupt others freedom. This is what I think the freedom means. What do you think about this, I want to listen :)
IMHO,
You can't say "dumb" to somebody that uses something like Linux mint or because s/he doesn't use what you use. You are not better than the other person because you use arch etc. (this is just and example for general case.) For example, you can hate ubuntu. But distracting the people who use Ubuntu doesn't make you a better better person. Even the opposite. And you can't deny that ubuntu helped Linux more than YOU while you're just hanging around with your impulsive speech (in general cases). I don't defend Ubuntu here, this is just most common situation to give as an example.
And what about non-technical users or newcomers to Linux? I hate when they're underestimated by the toxics. Are you happy when you make other people hate? :/
I just want to see more happy penguins in community, is it a lot ;)?

Installed KDE Neoen and it says Pop OS
So i installed kde neon from the official site 3 days back and today checked neofetch and it said Pop OS. I thought it was a problem with neofetch and tried with pfetch only to get the same result. and then i tried the command "$ cat /etc/os-release" in the terminal and got the same result. I used both the bash konsole the os came with and alacritty. And the weird thing is while booting the splash screen and the dual boot menu says KDE Neon. Is there a possible explanation for this?
Edit: ignore the Neon typo in the noscript.

Gnome performance one step forwards, one step backwards...
This post will not be popular with gnome fanboys. These last few years, things were looking up in terms of performance, a lot of Daniel Van Vugt (and others) patches yielded big improvements. With Gnome 40 RC, there is a noticeable regression from 38, animations randomly lag at times and then speed back up. The UI design is great but it comes with a big cost. Using GNOME 40 RC feels randomly sluggish at times and the user experience suffers greatly.
Gnome fanboys will hurry to say " you must have driver problems" or other things they have said in the past. NONSENSE.

I love gnome and my goal is not to trash the project, but why not delay gnome 40 and work on its performance before releasing it ? Releasing it in march will probably result in a lot of people being disappointed in the project...

Two questions about git.
1. Where is a really good comprehensive tutorial for git? All the tutorials i find only give the basics, like how to make a branch and how to init a directory to be a git repo but nothing really else.
2. Can someone recommend me a good open source git gui for linux?

Switching from vim to emacs
I have been using vim for more than 2 years. Gotten so used to it. Recently i have been thinking to try out emacs.
Would like to know,

Exactly how much private data is saved from adopting Linux?
In a scenario where a whole family shifts to a new place, all new accounts are made, and all computers only run Linux Mint, exactly how much privacy has been achieved compared to Windows or Mac?
When people say Linux is more privacy respecting, exactly what and how much of private data is being peddled away to corporations and remote servers?
