how to cover up the windows key?
i'm getting a new laptop soon (not a thinkpad sadly) and i want to cover up the windows key with something like a "super" key, or maybe just tux. either way, any tips for doing such a thing?
the laptop that i'm getting is a Lenovo V15 G2.

Linux certification questions
So i recently just passed ccna which took me a total of 2 months studying and I didn't have much prior knowledge or exp. I currently have sec plus net plus ccna and a bachelor's in cyber. My goal is to be a network guy but I also want to be proficient in Linux since most of the servers will most likely utilize Linux I was thinking of getting the comptia Linux plus certification or going the red hat route. I need to start off with something basic and I was wondering how difficult these certs are compared to ccna. I found ccna to be pretty difficult but I did pass on my first go. So how hard are the Linux certs and which ones should I start with. Thanks

NixOS + Distrobox or Silverblue/Aeon + Distrobox
I was just wondering whether NixOS and Distrobox would be comparable to Silverblue/Aeon and Distrobox.
The way that I see it, is that NixOS is an immutable distro like Silverblue and Aeon, but it also has the advantage of having the rest of the OS as declarative.
I am curious as to other peoples experience with NixOS and Distrobox, were there some things that just didn't work, and it would be better to go with Silverblue or Aeon?
The way that I see it is that at least I can configure the base OS with NixOS, while also being able to use Distrobox for times when I don't need to have everything declared, and for when it may be too tedious to create a set up with Nix.

Stop talking about Fedora change proposals like they have already decided on it.
Seriously. Everytime some controversial change gets proposed on Fedora, someone reports on it without making it clear that it only may get through after enough thought and discussion, and the entire comment section devolves into people yelling about this and that even though literally anybody can propose a change over there. And alot of the time those proposals don't even get through.
I get that potential major change is big news and a good source for discussions but dear god in the past week alone I've seen two different news about a Fedora change proposal where people act like the developers have already decided on it and it has zero pushback and is going to happen soon (removing 32-bit support being one of them). I don't even use Fedora but it gets really annoying. Atleast make it clear.
With that said I realized that readers will probably just be stupid and will overreact regardless but I don't think it hurts to be as clear as possible.

Is engineering workloads feasible on Linux.
I’m getting a new laptop in tomorrow, and I’m half considering installing Linux from the get go. I’m in my second year of a mechanical engineering undergrad and I’m wondering if this will be a big mistake.
The easy stuff like math, and data analysis is pretty easy on Linux, just web browser, vs code and a spreadsheet.
Ik solid works on MX Mac’s got a lot better but is it usable on x86 Linux also programs like matlab, solid works, fusion 360, multi sim, auto cad. Just chime in with personal experience
It’s for school so not on a hobby heavy tinkering time table I would love to use Linux but I have no interest in dual booting or lots of vms

Mail system distributed across 2 domains
Hello everybody,
I have Postfix+Courier setup on domain A (my homelab). Second domain B is somewhere on DigitalOcean. Current setup works pretty much well but recently I started noticing that some incoming mail isn't delivering. Also my current internet provider has a good spammer reputation (Spectrum hehe) so Google & Microsoft, as well as other popular services reject my outgoing emails.
What I want to achieve: I want to setup Postfix on machine where domain B is located but make it as a secondary (mail. subdomain) of domain A. Courier will run on machine/domain A. All mail clients (Outlook, RoundCube, maybe local mail addressed to 3rd party addressee) should go through the machine/domain A and then route to subdomain (machine B). I suppose that could resolve the issue with outgoing emails - they will not be marked as spam (because of my domain A originated from the Spectrum subnet).
How to achive that?

Best /etc/hosts file for adblocking?
Hi everyone,
I used to use the gigantic hosts file from winhelp2002 and throw it into my router's hosts file. The guy was a legend but unfortunately passed away. Instead of installing some kind of ad blocker on every device on my network, does anyone know of a regularly updated hosts file to block ads/malware that I can put on my router and servers?

Is there a way to print a list of vulnerabilities?
I am looking to prove there is no sweet32 vuln on my sever. I was screen sharing with another tech recently - I didn’t see his commands, but he ran something and it output a list, he scrolled down and found sweet32, he then upgraded the node, ran the same code, scrolled down and it was no longer showing.
Any idea what this command could be?

Perl terminal for Linux

Added transparency, custom color schemes (you can colorize everything), system info with custom noscript images, and most importantly super fast change directory cd command instead of tab autocomplete.
This terminal is written in Perl. It has custom border (you can change it from 1 - 5 pixels) with accent colors (it can be changed in settings as well). The panel on the right side is for searching commands.
This Perl terminal has some cool denoscriptive commands implemented. E.g. you just type: "create_backup of <source> to <target>" where you replace <source> and <target> with directories, and rsync does the rest. It creates backup of your e.g. home directory to e.g. external drive. Example:
create_backup of /home to /username/media/backup excluding .cache Movies
Other denoscriptive commands are:
copy <file or directory> to <directory>
delete <file or directory>
find <pattern> in <target>
search <pattern> in <target>
move <file or directory> to <directory>
rename <old name> to <new name>
locate_files <files or directories>
\---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Experienced users don't need this terminal, my intention was to create a Linux terminal that is a bit more fun to use for new Linux users.
