iOS Linux and Music
I need a media-player for iOS.
Any ideas? - VLC in iOS doesn't support this.

Use case:
\- Play flac, mp3, m4b
\- Create playlists on my linux machine and sync them, along with my music collection as files, such as relivtive-path playlist files included inside the music folder which I sync with the documents folder of some application in iOS

Flatpak not downloading due to lack of summary file?
Hi all,
I got an RPI yesterday, and am hoping to install a program called Anki on it. Flathub has a app for it, but I have not been able to install anyhthing via flatpak. I always get the following error:
>error: Remote listing for flathub not available; server has no summary file
Check the URL passed to remote-add was valid.
This is in response to:
>flatpak install flathub net.ankiweb.Anki
I was able to install flatpak with no issues, and I really can't find much help with this. Thanks in advance for anything you can give me!!!

Inexpensive Linux Laptops
Inexpensive Linux Laptops
There are many posts, on a regular basis asking about how to find good, high quality, very compatible, laptops and computers for use with Linux that are also affordable.
I know I can negotiate an i7 with 8 gigs Ram and 500 gigs of storage for $500 with a great case and reliable everything. Tested and delivered with Ubuntu on it.
If I get up to 5k upvotes on any of my posts. I will make an appointment in Taipei this summer to get costs and details ironed out.
I am shooting for $500 dollar super laptops that are great. And some bigger tackle for bigger fish as well. But I want our product line to be affordable for everyone. Not purchasing Windows affords us some extra budget for better hardware. I want to put it there.
But I won’t get the meeting without 5k upvotes.
If you are interested. Let me know!
Hopefully we can help each other! :D

PinePhone $149 Linux smartphone could support Ubuntu, Sailfish, Maemo, LuneOS and more
The PinePhone is a cheap, Linux-ready smartphone that’s expected to ship in limited quantities later this year. It’s not exactly a high-power device by modern smartphone standards, but with an expected starting price of $149, it will be a lot more affordable…
Anyone tried Kodachi?
A friend mentioned this one to me as featuring encrypted persistence like TAILS, but also with VPN abilities (unlike TAILS) and with a decoy encrypted persistence which wipes your real encrypted persistence when logged into.
It seems it is based on Debian (also like TAILS).
Viewing the latest reviews on distrowatch don't really inspire confidence, however.
Does anyone have experience with it? Yay or nay? Pros/cons?

The HUD is not dead yet
So many people have this nostalgia for the HUD, but how many still use it today? Let's be honest, unity is dead, but [mate-hud](https://github.com/ubuntu-mate/mate-hud) and [plasma-hud](https://github.com/Zren/plasma-hud) are options today. I have made a post on /r/kde I think some time ago but seems like most people still don't know about these things. **So let this change today!**

Thanks Linux
For giving me freedom.
For making my computer my own.
For giving me an alternative to the big manipulating greedy companies.
For giving me an OS where I decide every little thing in it, what should be in it, and what I should do with it.
For making the world a better place.
For keeping me safe with no spyware and tracking infested in the OS.
For keeping me anonymous with no need for identification in any way to use the OS.
For not making me a product for ad companies
For not data mining the heck out of me
For not pre-installing a ton of useless bloatware and sponsor garbage on my PC.
For being so flexible and able to run on everything.

I know many companies try to take you down and get a full monopoly on the IT industry, but they have no loyal fanbase as you do!
