Love the game so much... But I'm bothered about a story issue.
As stated, I love this game. I played it after it was gifted to me randomly. I didn't know what it was, and I wasn't warned that I'd want to record my playthrough. I played it with my young son and recorded THAT a few years ago. My kids are watching the playthrough right now, and I am reminded about something that bothered me in that second playthrough: the loop starts with us, as the sun exploding is what begins the project. So... how have there been over 9 million probes launched? I am correct in this being a plot hole, right? I would love for it not to be.
Edit: Thank you all! I read that text both times through in the workshop, but I must have missed something to connect the dots.

A topic ive never seen or heard in all these years
Aight so we all know the loops starts for the hatchling MANY loops in already. So in those previous loops you dont play, the hatchling still wakes up and goes to space. So im curious (tho no one has the answer) i wonder what the hatchling actually did in those previous loops. It wouldnt be the first thing you did on your fiest in game loop for a few reasons.
On OUR first loop, the statue activates, immediately changing the next things done potentially. Especially if its brought up to that one hearthian outside the museum.
So im curious canonically what the hatchling did and where they went first and if they crashed and died, in their first minute loop.
(I know no one has an answer)

On my playthrough, something happened that made the Giant's Deep entry even more breathtaking
The first time I went to Giant's Deep, I landed in the TOQT tornado. The next few times I directly followed the location marker. I didn't realize that I was physically in a tornado with a boundary, I just thought it always looked like clouds around you and I thought the planet was confined to multiple of these pockets of clearness. (those two thoughts conflict with eachother, I don't exactly remember everything perfectly, but both of those thoughts did manifest in some way)
So when one time, I descended through the clouds and was thrust into an open expanse, it was an even more amazing experience than most people get because I was expecting a dark and foggy area. I was confused and disoriented by this, which added to the experience.

How rare was it for me to do this lol
I got the game tonight with my friend who has played it before, they wanted to watch me play it for the first time.
Like fourty minutes into the game I stumble onto the ash twin planet, and I’m exploring the random buildings since the sand had gone down.
All of a sudden I see this giant sand tornado beam thing coming my way, so I run into a room to hide. Then before I know it I’m apparently teleported to a place for the “ash twin project” or whatever it is. I tried moving a glowing ball and jet packing to get a little orb but I missed and was blown out into space.
My friend was freaking out that I had made it into that random place, they said it was crazy I got there on accident without meaning to lol. Is it really that crazy?
Also I’m still just starting so I had no idea what anything in that place even was haha
