The legend of Technoblade chapter 2: No sleep for the wicked
(This is the second chapter in my story chronicling all of technoblades accomplishments as if he was an ancient legendary warrior, rather than a Minecraft player.)
Chapter 2: No sleep for the wicked
Simon was a man who thrived on the suffering of others. He was a sadistic man who had control over his own realm, which he used to hold combat tournaments with strange rulesets. Some, you'd be dropped in the middle of a large area filled with weapons, forced to fight to the death with all other participants. Another would have the combatants fight atop floating islands, where one wrong step could send you tumbling into nothingness. Simon never allowed people to die, no. He would simply bring them back, committed to watching them torment each other forever.
One day, however, Simon began to notice something. A young man with the face of a boar was coming out victorious far more than anyone else. Whether fighting on solid ground or sky islands, this man seemed to be an unstoppable force of violence. This gave Simon the perfect idea.
Technoblade was dropped onto a set of floating islands, but this time it was a bit different. There were merchants on the island, and a machine that continuously created precious metals that the merchants would happily buy in exchange for equipment. The most standout feature, however, was a single bed. This bed was nothing special, a simple wooden frame with red covers, enough room for one person, however it held a power that made this tournament far different from others. If one were to die in this tournament, rather than being brought back outside of the battlefield, they would reform at their bed, as if the experience was merely a bad dream.
Technoblade loved a challenge, so he eagerly participated. However Simon didn't put Technoblade here to see if he would win, he was sure he would. No, Simon put Technoblade here to see how far his lust for victory would go. Killing all other participants did not allow Technoblade to go free, it merely allowed for the next batch of sacrifices to be brought in. Every victory allowed Technoblade a few minutes of rest, before he would be forced to fight once more.
For many days and nights, Technoblade fought. He never faltered, never slipped, always eager to get just one more victory. Slowly, he began to feel angry. Why had he been going for so long? When would it stop? Why was he still inside his battlefield.
He reached 1000 wins, the motions of combat now second nature. He began to hinder himself, only fighting with one hand, with his eyes closed, even balanced stop wagon wheels in honor of what brought him his fame. Still, he never lost.
Finally, he reached 1400 wins. A number so high, none would ever hope to reach it. Technoblade was about to slaughter the final victim when the unthinkable happened.
His bed was destroyed.
Now this wasn't the end, of course, Technoblade just needed to kill the one who destroyed it, an easy feat. And yet, as he watched the frightened boy's sword be pulled from the splintered bed, a profound sense of calm overtook him. No rage, no bloodlust, just a silence that he hasn't heard in a long time. And as he looked from the terrified boy to the endless expanse of nothing beneath the sky islands, he had come to a conclusion. He no longer wanted to win.
He walked over to the child, someone no older than 12, and smiled. Technoblade backed towards the edge of the island, glancing down one more time at the void below, and with a final salute to the one who finally bested him, he fell backwards, plummeting into the void. The last word he spoke as he fell weren't sad, nor were they angry. The only one who could hear him was the boy he had bestowed with victory. As he fell he simply said, “Good game.”

an extended version of Woe to thee ye people order, the epic war ballad of technoblade
in spite of having been a fan of technoblade for a while, I've yet to create a real tribute till now, so this is that, I always loved the song Woe to thee ye people of order, but wished it covered the parts of his career beyond the dream smp, this has been meant as a tribute to his memory, and was written with full intention of being respectful. credit to the following
Song and melody written by @TheShinySnivy
Additional lyrics and alterations by @MizzFishYT , Knight of Endale, and @unintendedmango5825
and now, here it is
my beginning was humble, a showing of lore
A studio of violence not seen before
But the venue grew weary and I did grow bored
And so did begin the tale of the boar
I wandered and conquered, many a land
Within but a few months, each victory was at hand
Though my name was unknown, it began to grow
But even I did not know, just how far I would go
I grew tired of conquest, and sought out new lands
And on hypixel found a fight worthy of my hands
Twenty four per arena, I sought out the best
And made them all fall before my grand quest
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends
On islands above, I sent foes below
Joined the council of ten and made it my home
Was named a master, and made them all bow
As my dragon and I soared through the clouds
It was then I heard whispers, voices in my head
As I gripped my wheel and reached the end
And soon they began, to demand to see blood
I started a champion, and ended a god
I returned to the islands, but this time there’s more
A goal to break beds to make final gore
Two hundred battles I won without pause
And realized just how high that I could go now
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And that you fear me and fear my friends
I gathered fine warriors, of high esteem
Even against flying code-breakers a victory was seen
A thousand more victories, then two hundred more still
Till I grew tired of waiting for my team
But attention withdrew, the voices waned
It seemed that my efforts had been in vain
For a year I drifted, stuck in limbo
Till the time came, the return I was owed
Four hundred more victories, I gifted a friend
And then set out for exotic lands
A moment of peace, high up in the sky
But my day of ascension yet unknown was nigh
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends
One day every week, we gathered to fight
Two dozen pairings all legends by right
They ignored me at first for my name was unknown
But soon they’d all give me the fear I was owed
The voices increased, to one million-fold
My name it did spread, my legend did grow
The format was changed for my blade they did fear
Rules broken against me were left unenforced
But still I did win, four out of fourteen
Never placed below third individually
My one million voices grew one hundred times more
But then I did settle after earning my score
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I build my home amidst the smoulder
And in the sky I rose again
I put down my sword and made some friends
In the land in the sky, I farmed and I forged
Slaying dragons and making deadlier swords
My speed grew greater, and flight I achieved
But competition I craved and soon would see
In pursuit of more power I’d raised up my hoe
In my prowess I strove and through ranks I rose
Till only one stood before me, my single true foe
And I laughed in victory as my plans I showed
My enemy pushed on, as determined as I
We sought out rare powers and spread careful lies
But in a battle of wills, it comes down to the mind
So my mastery of his mind made the crown

We sought out rare powers and spread careful lies

So my mastery of his mind made the crown
mine
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope you homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends
Freed from the battle, a peace was made
But my love for the peace had begun to fade
So when and invitation, to conquest was made
I traversed frozen wastelands to stake my claim
I claimed the fortress, of the gate to the moon
With my good friend the angel who heralded doom
Together we set out, to the east and the west
And for but one hour we achieved world conquest
Returning from trial, we began to build
A great rail-bridge constructed to link our wills
But an assassin was sent, of an enemy state
For my friend the angel and so was born hate
Oh woe to thee you agent of order
I’ll ensure your home continues to smolder
And that you never touch my friend
Now leave me be or face your end
I chased him all, across the world
Till at his home a treaty he signed
But an ally made, the book to burn
And so we left a ruin behind
After war was waged, a challenge was made
A final duel to end the fight
Amidst his loss, we found the trap he’d made
We twisted his arm to finally sign
Tired by conquest again, I sought out new fights
Found a championship to join, but struggled in strife
Till with friends at hand, and plans in mind
We slaughtered them all and the voices ran wild!
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends
T’was then that I found my rival indeed
A runner and hunter who moved with great speed
A comparison was made, a ruckus was raised
Till in championship for blood we bayed
Victories we traded, each loss for a win
Though our blades did not cross the margin was thin
After battle we joked, we should form a team
Unaware that such an event would be seen
But first I was needed, by two close friends
To replace their two allies as one single man
Through two hundred foes, we’d fight to the end
Though we thought we’d make a final stand
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
When you see me and see my friends
The voices had watched, but now they would act
Till an army of hounds I’d have at my back
Armed and armored, our foes would all fall
Ending with just we three against twenty one all
We achieved victory, the last to stand
The record broke three-fold once by my own hand
The kills of the previous team record had just been nineteen
While my team together, killed one hundred sixteen
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you fear to rise again
For fear of me and of my friends
I returned to my rivalry, we both stood form
Till a shock arrived by one single word
A pairing in tournament, not seen before
But we’d make them fear the might of our swords
It started of easy, they trembled with fear
At first it seemed our victory was near
But all was not certain, for a moment hoped waned
But we recovered and soon we wore crowns again!
Then finally, the time was nigh
Me and my rival would battle on high
Ten matches total, to ensure it was fair
While the beast watched on through the glare
By sword and by axe, we danced in our duel
Trading match for match we drew close to a tie
Til we matched five to four, with just one round left
When finally it ended and I cried victory on high
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope you see my victory over
The only one who could match me
And finally learn why you should fear me
For a month there was silence, the voices were still
For the time being we’d had our fill
I put down my sword, and took a rest
Simply a moment to catch my breath
But came a cry from a man that I’d known
Someone to whom rare compassion I’d shown
And so I opened up my door
To the man who promised me blood and war
Oh woe to thee, ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends
I followed
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope you homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends

I followed
him far to a distant land
Where he had been exiled by one single man
His horns they were wicked, his power was great
And you looked in his eyes and were swallowed by hate
He took me to shelter, his humble abode
A pitiful cavern his comrades called home
He handed me bedding and bid me adieu
As I sat and I pondered on what I should do
For I craved violence, I craved to be free (I craved violence)
From the people who wish to control me (I won’t hide it)
Yes I believe in anarchy’s reign
I know that dictators only bring pain (I believe in anarchy’s reign)
Oh woe to thee, ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And leave me be and leave my friends
I prepared for battle, I hoarded and schemed
But I did not know all was not what it seemed
My allies unstable, their loyalty thin
Yes we would have victory but what would we win?
The battle was chaos, blood roared in my ear
A chain of explosions, they looked up with fear
They set up a leader and shouted hoorays
And I shuddered and realized that I’d been betrayed
Is this what you want, corruption and power?
Well I won’t stand for it, this is my hour!
Take on these beasts, I’m now friend to none
If you think you’re a hero, then die like one!
Oh woe to thee, ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And woe to those who called me a friend
I fled until silence was all I could hear
The voices once screaming now hummed in my ears
The cold it was lonely but I was alone
And I promised that I’d not let blood taint my home
But then came a message from my only friend
“Oh warrior hide, or else this is the end
They’ve bound up my wings and they hunt for your head
They promised me justice; but they’ll see you dead!”
They came to me with an armed battalion
Held an axe to my innocent stallion
And said “Now it is your turn to bow!
See how the king has fallen now”
They raised an anvil and laid me below (Laid him below)
They thought to crush me painful and slow (Painful and slow)
But I did live, and I did flee (Don’t let him go!)
And I put my pick through the butcher’s teeth
Oh, Woe to thee, ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you never rise again
And beware of me and beware my friends
I returned from battle all tattered and worn
And found at my doorstep a child forlorn
He told me his story, he told me his woes
As I thought up a plan for our mutual foes
I stealthily went to familiar lands
As I gathered my weapons and laid out my plans
But when the poor child spoke with friends he had known
He abandoned our mission and left me alone
I gathered my hounds and made them devour
The allies I once knew; sweet friendships now sour
And let explosions rain from on high
As I watched them run and fight for their lives
Oh woe to thee, ye People of Order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you’ll never rise again
And woe to those who called me a friend
I reveled in victory, time passed in a blink
I took a new prodigy under my wing
I watched him grow bolder, I watched him grow brave
And I watched as they took him and locked him away
A rescue was gathered, our plans were all honed
To save my apprentice and the man that I owed
All went as expected, we thought we’d escaped
But they grabbed my apprentice, and there he was slain
My rage and my grief flared brighter than flame
I charged the warden, but he fled the blame
And I did swear as he did flee
I’d avenge the one he took from me
I tracked down the man to the edge of the world
With enemies turned allies, his white flag unfurled
We dragged him back and left him to rot
And I returned from the carnage I wrought
Oh woe to thee ye people of order
I hope your homes continue to smolder
And that you’ll never rise again
And beware of me and beware of my friends
But then came a foe, one could not simply fight
To fight it alone would be an unhelpful plight
But when I told the world, of what I must fight
It said
Where he had been exiled by one single man
His horns they were wicked, his power was great
And you looked in his eyes and were swallowed by hate
He took me to shelter, his humble abode
A pitiful cavern his comrades called home

And beware of me and beware of my friends
But then came a foe, one could not simply fight
To fight it alone would be an unhelpful plight
But when I told the world, of what I must fight
It said
it would fight with me through the dark night
Disputes faded away, mere nightmares dismissed
As we made our display for all to witness
And army of friends, several million strong
Voices without and within together raised song
We blasted through stone, and soared through the sky
A show to put on to raise hopes high
And those hopes together, caused charity
And charity made the enemy bleed
A dragon was slain, but then the time came
But in spite of the grief it was not in vain
For though the foe, was not split in twain
Forever more its wound would remain
Oh woe to thee, ye foe of my order
I’ll make sure your wound continues to smolder
And though I may not rise again
One day will come your final end
I made one request, to those I held dear
A mere fulfilled dream before the end of the year
But when a million voices, heard my one ask
They suddenly knew their one single task
Though I leave this world, know I am not sad
For this time that we spent I am most glad
If I could do it again, you know what I’d choose
But for now, farewell, and good fortune to you

The Technoblade Movie (semifinals)
If you were active on this subreddit, you might have seen the post I made regarding sticksfilms and their mission to make short-film type trailers for youtubers.
They are currently hosting a competition to make a final 'trailer' for a YouTuber and there was an option for a wild card entry into the semi finals.
As Wildcard entry into the semi finals, the Techno fans spoke loud and got him in.
There will be a vote on their instagram, sticksfilms, on Monday 5PM PST.
I am not trying to promote these people but their past work has always been met with positive reviews and I believe this trailer can be an amazing tribute to our legend.
Do not follow their Instagram if you dont want to but please please please vote for techno.
Our fanbase is against Rhett & Link, 2 YouTube legends.
Lets do this guys. All of us need to vote. We have to win.
I know this subreddit can do it.
For Techno.
TLDR - If you vote for Technoblade on sticksfilms instagram, we may get a movie made for him. We are against YT legends so this sub really needs to give it their all to win.
Technoblade never dies.
