In June 1968, Roman Polanski releases Rosemary's Baby. A film based on the novel by Ira Levin, about a coven that uses a young woman to conceive a "moonchild".

The opening shot of the film flies over the Dakota House, right over the area where Lennon was later assassinated.

Interestingly, we later see a white VW 'Beetle' (much like on the cover of Abbey Road) covered in blood outside the Dakota, where one of the characters had jumped from a window. This is very near the location where Lennon was shot.

Later, while riding in a taxi, we see a white VW Beetle behind Rosemary as she first reads her book on Witchcraft.

We also see the "Is God dead?" issue of Time.
